The owners of Strada, Cabrina and Daniella, have been doing my hair for 10 years. Honestly, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my hair. I drove over an hour from Philly to come to their new salon and it was absolutely worth it. The new space is beautiful - clean, airy, and spacious. Cabrina and Daniella are extremely welcoming; it's almost like they're welcoming you into their home I had a little trouble with the lighting so my "after picture" doesn't do her work justice, but I'm thrilled with Cabrina's work again. I like to have very cool ashy blonde highlights with a deep root and lots of dimension. I'm also in the midst of growing out a lob (my natural texture is wavy). Cabrina did hand painted baby lights, a root smudge, and a toner. One of the things I appreciate most about the quality of their work is that it grows in so well and lasts... Cabrina did my hair about 6 months ago (you can see it in the "before" pic) and it still looked pretty good, even after so much time. I also appreciate that they're thoughtful with their products - everything is effective, but my hair is never damaged. High quality - and I'm always happy with the results. read more

Such a disapointing experience. Had to wait 30 min for our appointment for my daughter- no apology or even a reason provided. The final color was entirely different from what was requested and when we asked for a correction we were told that there was not time but to go home and keep washing her hair - maybe try chlorine in the pool (???). Upon insisting that the color needed to be fixed (it was soooo harsh), we were then told to go home and use Dawn soap - which after spending money to go to the salon - seems quite insulting. We felt so uncomfortable with the way we were treated from when we walked in, we didn't go back for the corrective appointment. I have never been to a salon where they stylist didnt want me to walk out happy. Have reached out to management on two occasions to request a refund but no response. read more

This is my second time here and I don't know why I haven't wrote a review sooner! Brittany is such a kind, sweet and knowledgeable person. I don't know much about hair but she'll explain if your hair goals are realistic and help guide you towards it. I asked for a low maintenance color with some depth and the results? PERFECTION!! I always feel like a brand new person after. Melissa is also such a loving spirit and she gives the best massages when she washes your hair! I have been to other salons in Philly before and this is different from others where the staff focuses on you only and not having 3-4 clients at a time. The whole staff there makes you feel very comfortable and at home. Book your next appointment now -- but leave me a spot please hehe. read more

Strada is so wonderful! Daniella did an absolutely beautiful job on my hair- she is really an artist. She was able to create the specific red I was looking for, and did it beautifully. I had such a wonderful experience with Brittany. She is such a bubbly and colorful stylist. I cannot thank her enough for not only giving me such great results but also provided such a fun hair coloring experience. I have thick Asian hair, which generally takes 5-6 hours to color. I had neutral tone blonde highlights done. She was patient with my hair and gave detailed care. Brittany is an absolute gem and I recommend her to anyone that not only wants amazing-looking hair but an overall excellent experience. Melissa, the stylist assistant was very vibrant to work with. Not only is she entertaining but she was also giving great attention to my needs. She always made sure I felt comfortable. read more

I have been highlighting my hair for over 20 years. I have very fine hair that is easily damaged by bleach/blonde highlights, and prior to moving to this area had been with the same stylist for 15 years. I have REALLY struggled to find my person in this area, and have tried three different salons. I found Strada online, and after reading a number of reviews, called the salon for more information. Daniella (co-owner/founder) answered and ended up talking to me for 10 or 15 minutes about what I was looking for. I was so grateful that she would spend that much time and invest so much care and passion into a conversation with a client who wasn't even hers yet. From that single chat, I booked my appointment and went in for what I thought was a partial highlight. After a detailed consult, I ended up deciding to do a full set of highlights with a toner (3.5 hour process), and the care that Daniella took with my hair was unparalleled. Literally-- for over 20 years I have never seen someone put so much time and energy into getting it right. She put different developer on the ends of my hair that were more fragile than she did towards the top or middle-- and she treated it before she colored to make sure it was as protected as possible. She did an after color treatment, and washed the foils out in different orders so they were all perfectly developed based on the time that she had put them in. I have never seen an artist do that in all of my years of getting my hair done professionally. And all the while, she carefully listened to what I was looking for and asked that I show her examples so she knew EXACTLY what I was going for. Daniella shared with me that she comes from four generations of stylists and has had experience in major cities (LA, Philly) working with very renowned clients and teachers. And it shows. Daniella is a grounded, down to earth, kind, and very skilled artist who is going to have an incredible client base in this area. I am beyond honored to have had the experience in her first year to become a client. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the ends of my hair. :-) read more

I went to this salon for the first time this Monday and oh wow have I not been to a salon that felt this good in a very long time. Alex was my stylist and she made my literal hair dreams come true. she gave me a flawless pixie cut and dyed my hair the most perfect platinum blonde i've ever seen. My expectations were beyond exceeded and the experience was one i would do again in a heart beat. Run by twin sisters every single stylist there was unbelievably delightful, friendly and supportive. Their mother Karen was also a delight, helping anyone who needed it while also telling everyone how great they looked! Vaccination cards were required at the door making the environment feel incredibly safe for anyone still nervous about going to get a haircut during the pandemic. I could not recommend Benita Bianca Hair Salon more! read more

What a great experience! My stylist is out on maternity leave, I had someone lined up (at another salon) who was supposed to help me while she is out and they bailed on me super late the night before my appt. I was really upset bc my son's 1st bday party is this weekend (wanting to look/feel my best). I did some research being local to Doylestown to find a reputable convienent salon! As a mom who commutes far for work that was important to me. I was able to make an appt online which is so helpful! I was also very fortunate Daniella had an opening today, I could not have been more thankful. She did an amazing job! The salon is so so lovely and cozy! My hair looks and feels great! Cabrina is so nice too! Thank you for welcoming me and helping me in a pinch! I will be back! read more

I just moved into Northern Liberties in the last year and desperately needed to find a new salon, after some quick googling I found Benita Bianca. I called on Valentine's Day looking for a blowout and was so excited to hear that they could squeeze me in on such a busy day. Upon walking in, I was greeted and welcomed in by Karen, who was so friendly and warm that it felt like I was being treated like family. She continued to check me in and take my coat. The decor in the salon is clean, minimalist, and modern with thoughtful touches. As for my hair, Peyton did an amazing job. I have fine hair that won't typically hold a curl for more than 2 hours. Peyton gave me a gorgeous bouncy, voluminous blowout with curls that are still intact over 24 hours later! It was such a relief to not have to worry about my hair for my Valentine's date later on that night. Peyton assured me that with proper care, this blowout could last for days to come. I immediately booked a haircut after my blowout. I will be happily returning for all my future hair needs-- cuts, blowouts, highlights. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for top notch service and excellent hair care! read more

I had such an amazing experience with Brittany! I peppered her with questions during my first hair cut appointment with her knowing I wanted to dye my hair for the first time ever this year. She not only answered every question thoroughly but made me feel SO comfortable with the process. I cannot recommend Rachael at Benita Bianca enough! She is incredibly talented, professional and overall just fun to chat with. I've always come in with a general idea of what I want and she provides her insight and advice that helps refine the end goal, and I have never been disappointed with the end result. I have thick wavy hair, and from my experience, not everyone knows how to properly cut, color and style my type of hair which has led to some pretty awful cuts. Rachael is a true professional that is able to work with my hair type and knows exactly how to make it look it's best with my features. I recently moved from Chicago to Philly and was looking for a new place to get my color and cut. I saw Peyton today for my balayage and the end result was absolutely beautiful. She was meticulous, and took amazing care. I really appreciated that during the lightening process, she made sure it was all coming along evenly, and adjusted accordingly (which surprisingly not every stylist does). Peyton really listened to me, and I felt super taken care of. Suffice to say, I will absolutely see her again. Also, I can't leave a review without mentioning that I also got a haircut here a couple of months ago from Rachael, and she absolutely killed it. The cut was exactly what I wanted, and it's growing out so well! You really can't go wrong with any of the stylists at this salon. read more

I had an attempted balyage done at another salon and came out with unwanted copper borderline orange highlights instead. I was seen by Rachael and she is a GENIUS! She listened to exactly what I wanted and spent 4 hours making sure she got it right. She checked and reworked and I ended up with exactly what I wanted in the first place. She was so kind and easy to talk to, she made the experience effortless and took away any anxiety I had. She's new to the salon but obviously not new to color, I won't trust anyone else in the area going forward! The salon itself is small but it has an intimate feel that I like way more than a large impersonal chain. I was hesitant to go with a new stylist for them after my first experience. The owner Daniella came to the phone unsolicited and made me feel at ease and even offered to tag team my appointment. This was not necessary after she provided Rachael's instagram and I saw her work. Great salon overall, I've been telling anyone that will listen about this place! read more

Oh my goooodness, I can't say enough amazing things about a Brittany!! For starters she's the sweetest!! But my hair transformation is one I didn't expect to happen with just one visit, I was fully prepared to have double the price tag over at least 3 appointments. She took me from desperate Covid box dye to a gorgeous blonde color! All while keeping my hair feeling even healthier than when I walked into the salon. I'm so grateful to have finally found someone to deliver a gorgeous non brassy blonde and knowledge of how to handle my textured hair. Thank you Britt!!!! Daniella never fails to make my hair dreams come to life! She is absolutely amazing with hair and stays up-to-date with all the latest hair trends, giving me confidence that any hair idea I have/saw on Pinterest or the latest celeb, is something she can handle! The whole team at the salon seems to be incredible hair artists. They are all so sweet/welcoming and seem to have such passion for beautifying each clients' hair. They also just brought on another employee, Shawn, to do eyebrows/waxing, and spray tans. I've gone to 1 appointment for eyebrow waxing and tinting so far and will definitely be back! I never realized how eyebrows could play such a role in making me feel more put together until my appointment with her. She does an amazing job and has such a friendly personality, like the others there! The salon itself has beautiful aesthetics that are perfectly simple and peaceful, yet chic. Your day's stress instantly melts away when you walk into the doors and take a seat in the chair. The only reason I would suggest not booking with them is to leave more appointment availability open for me (selfishly). Otherwise, you cannot go wrong going to this salon! read more

Just moved to the area mid Covid shutdown so not only was I in desperate need of a cut, but was also looking for a new stylist, and just happened to stumble across the salon on a walk. I've been a guinea pig for the past few years for various friends working on their license so I've never actually needed to think of what cut/color I wanted since it was always whatever was needed for their class...so, naturally, I arrived with absolutely no idea of what to ask for other than I knowing I wanted short, but long enough to put in a ponytail. Daniella was so awesome on explaining what would work best for my hair texture and face shape, and worked her magic. I also received a balayage with color melting, and it's perfect. I haven't colored my hair in a few years, but needed a change with the lovely dreaded grays coming in now. I'm super low maintenance when it comes to hair and the cut/balayage she gave me looks amazing even air dried. I have received so many compliments, and my hair still feels super healthy and light. The decor is adorable with a bit of crisp minimalist style and a touch of lively greenery. The sanitation protocols they've taken to ensure everyone's safety is great. One must be escorted into the shop (after the designated station has been sanitized), there is a QR code survey to complete prior to entering which is again verbally confirmed along with a temperature check, hand sanitizer at the counter, and masks on at all times. Aside from every person I've seen leaving feeling and looking beautiful, the ambiance of the shop is so great. Everyone in the shop is so welcoming and sweet. You truly feel like you're there visiting friends which only makes the experience that much better. read more

I had an amazing experience my first time at this hair salon. They have you fill out a short history about your hair and even bring you a drink of your choice. Daniella did my balayage and I felt like she really listened to what I wanted while also keeping my hair healthy. My hair was really dull, dry and I had an overgrown brown balayage coming in. In one session, she was able to get my hair really blonde. The whole process took about 5-6 hours. I'm coming in for a second session to get my hair even lighter. read more

I used to hate getting my hair cut and would only go out of necessity once or twice a year, but since Benita Bianca opened in NoLibs in the spring, I've already been twice (record for me!). All of the staff were very accommodating upon my arrival. I got my hair cut by Rachael and she did an excellent job! I didn't want to take much off of my length but rather enhance the overall body of my hair with layers/texture. This is by far the best hair experience I've ever had. I've only colored my hair a few times and usually make pretty safe choices, but This time I wanted a big change. Super copper baylage. I wasn't 100% sure about what type of cut I wanted, but I knew I needed a trim and kind of wanted something different. Daniella suggested a few things, which I promptly looked up and decided to go for it, a long shag with bangs. This happens to also be the best bang experience as well. Last time I got bangs at a different salon, it wasn't quite what I wanted. Daniella and Cabrina worked efficiently as a team and NAILED it. Not only are the skilled and constantly learning new techniques, but they are personable. None of that awkward, fake salon small talk. Genuine and warm. Let me also add that the past 2 times I've colored my hair, my scalp burned during the process and then flaked for days. I felt nothing during the process, which proves that they use QUALITY products. On top of that the salon amazing. Beautiful and open. Do yourself a favor and hit this place up. Worth it, even if you're just visiting Philly. read more

Daniella is a hair wizard! She did my hair for several years when I lived in Philly. Then we both ended up in Los Angeles and she continued to do my hair at the salon she opened there. I have always loved going to her and we developed a great friendship over the years. She is a lovely and wonderfully talented woman and does amazing work. She will also do anything and everything to make sure you are 100% satisfied every time. I have thick and ornery hair and she always went above and beyond to make my hair dreams come true. I've been going to Cabrina and Daniella for my hair since 2015 and these two are both INCREDIBLE. Not only that, but being someone who is super socially awkward - and generally gets anxiety when going to get my haircut because it means I have to keep up with small talk - these women are super personable. I just moved to the area and was pretty stressed about finding a new salon as I had been going to my previous girl for over 10 years. No exaggeration when I say Daniella exceeded all of my expectations. I have very thick, long curly hair that I typically wear blown out. I wanted to have my color corrected (darker for fall) layers trimmed and thinned out. This is probably the best haircut I've ever gotten (my boyfriend even said the same thing and he never notices my hair cuts LOL). She was so knowledgeable about her recommendations on what would work best for my hair type long term. Also, she was really kind and charismatic! As a woman of color, I find it difficult to find colorists who can choose the right shade to compliment my skintone. They nail it! I also got a "Relax" hair mask done with Daniella and I swear she gives the best head and scalp messages on God's green earth.
