I met Kim Beck about 4 years and I was complaining about my hair, it was curly frizz out of control and the color was off. At this point I was going to different salons and no one could do my hair, cut it, give me the right products, style it, color it, it was awful. Kim said "come on in, I have worked with hair like yours. I made an appointment and WOW what a difference, finally the right products that work on my hair, the right cut, looked good, I was happy. Then we discussed a relaxer to calm the frizz and at my next appointment it was applied and I have never looked back! My teenagers also have been going to Impact Hair Design for awhile and we have gone to most of the stylists there and are very happy. The absolute best hair experience I've had in my entire life! The people here are so friendly, even with the 6 inches of snow outside and freezing temperatures they went through to get to work today, such dedicated people. Kim did my hair and it was apparent to me that she was a professional. I had almost no set idea about what I wanted to do with my hair and Kim worked it out with me, took all the things I was saying, and found the style I wanted. She took her time to make sure every part of the cut was just right, Also, my hair is complicated as I have multiple cowlicks and thick hair, Kim took the time to explain my options and allowed me to pick the best one for me to overcome these obstacles. When we finished she even showed me specifically how to style my hair so now I can do it every morning like I just left the salon. An incredible step up from normal hair establishments and really refreshing to see a place where people take pride in their work. Being new to the area, I took a leap of faith, based on reviews, and went to this salon last week. No regrets at all. My "artist" was Daphne, a total professional who obviously loves what she does. More importantly, she listens and cares about what you want. I've been going to salons for longer than I'd like to admit and this was the most satisfying experience I've ever had. She spent time discussing my options and continued to "instruct" me throughout. The result was beautiful and she wouldn't let me leave until she was sure I was satisfied. The cost is an added bonus. Went here today for the first time after moving to the area and having a couple of misses at other salons. Will definitely be going back! My appointment was with Ashley who was helpful in helping me figure out what needed to be done. Cut and color came out fabulous. She also sent me home with samples of the products used, which is helpful to try at home without committing to an entire bottle. Shampoo person was phenomenal, as well. Very reasonably priced Just a word of caution...they only accept cash or check. The person who booked my appointment did not tell me this but was fine either way. After moving to Doylestown from Massachusetts I wanted a salon that used the Goldwell Color system and called Impact Hair Design via the Yellow Pages. We moved to Clinton, NJ 2 years later and I have been making the 50 minute drive @ over to Impact every 6 weeks for the past 11 years. Moved to Doylestown from NY about 20 years ago. Tried a few local salons before discovering Impact. Have been a loyal customer ever since (at least 12 years). The atmosphere is warm and inviting and welcoming to all. My 23 year old daughter and my 17 year old son have their hair done at Impact as well. The stylists and colorists are all knowledgeable and extremely competent. They listen to their clients and work very hard to give you the look you want. The atmosphere is great and they give you coffee (or tea) and cookies! Andy (the owner) cut my hair and he was awesome. He really took his time and explained in detail what he was going to do.
