Customer service is really good, but I feel like they scam us to get us in the store for sales that they really don't have

Do you even want me/us to put a review in writing??!! Might be the worst property rental management…read moreexperience I have ever had! From the time we arrived in the driveway, there was ZERO accountability and no contingency plan for a property that was not clean, not up to expectations that we were ready to walk away from on Day 1. House had not been inspected by Stowe Country Homes prior to our arrival and we had to deep clean the property ourselves to make it presentable. We were refunded a cleaning deposit. The driveway had been plowed but a huge 4 ft snowbank was left in front of garage doors that we had to shovel on our own to even access the garage for the cars. Happened again mid-month without acceptable intervention from Stowe Country homes. I would appreciate a phone call from the company manager to discuss all the shortcomings but no one there wants to address anything once the reservation has started; and we were there for the entire month of February. Should I mention the Lady Bug and black fly infestation?! If Stowe Country Homes insists on laying the blame on the property owner, than that house (Elmore Meadows) should not be considered for your rental pool of homes. I/we expected more!!

Company website reflected available units based on the dates I input. I selected one of the…read moreproperties which again reflected as available and reflected different dollar amounts based on midweek and weekend dates. Reservation request requested and accepted my credit card information. Later I receive an email stating property owner will only rent for 30 day stays. Called Katrina who had previously apologized in email yet claims there is no mistake when I point out the customer experience and financial risk. Next stop complain to BBB on their bait and switch tactics. Asked owner Nancy to contact me but doubt the coward will based on reading other reviews.

The tiny house is parked at an 1850's Tubbs Mill property in Stowe, Vermont right by a waterfall…read more The tiny house is tiny and only 99 square feet and built by the owner A.J. A.J. is personable and just a really nice guy. There is a queen size bed, small kitchen area with a sink, two burner stove, and a small refrigerator but no freezer. Basic dishes and cooking utensils are provided and there is a 32 inch tv mounted on the wall. You also have a small bathroom area with a composting toilet and the main building is a short walk away with two bathrooms, and one with a shower you have access to for 24 hours. Additionally, there is small outside area by the tiny house with a grill and fire pit. There are a couple of chairs and a table to sit at and enjoy the view of the river and waterfall. The view and atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and hearing the water fall at night was the best. The down fall is there is no flushing toilets and the shower they provided in the mill house, was not very clean. I felt like I had to dance around the bathroom to take a shower. The showers are in the mill house so you have to go to another building to use the bathroom and take a shower. The sink in the tiny house doesn't run water either, instead it's a pump sink where you pump the water. You are only provided with 20 liters of water for your stay so you have to use it wisely. The owner usually only rents out on the weekends as he rents out the mill house to other business owners and local artists. My mother and I really didn't eat out to much but we took advantage of the grill. We went shopping at the local supermarket and brought hamburgers, Sausages, Corn on the Cob, and Salad. We also used the fire pit, sat outside, had a couple of drinks, and watched the waterfall. The perfect combination. Although, the atmosphere and views are beautiful there were some down side, so two days is plenty enough. It was a great experience and I'm glad I got to experience living in the tiny house and my mother and I really got to bond.

100% worth it. Literally- don't pass up this company!…read more We were traveling from Louisiana (where there's no need for snow clothes) to Colorado where we would definitely need weather appropriate clothing. KitLender had it all. I ordered a full kit for myself (a north face jumpsuit, boots, gloves, and goggles) as well as a pair of snow pants. My husband got a snow bib and boots. And my toddler got a full kit (snow bib, jacket, boots, mittens, and goggles). ALL of this for a fraction of the cost to buy. However, the best part was I had to pack NONE of it. It was delivered to my lodge, we used it, repacked it, and it was picked up by FedEx from the lodge to go back to KitLender. I think it was the least stressful part of our family vacation (lol). WILL DEF BE USING AGAIN! THANKS KL!

Zero stars if that were an option. Absolute failure when it mattered most…read more I ordered ski clothing from Kit Lender for 9 people nearly a full month in advance (28 days) for what was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime family trip to Big Sky. We did everything right to avoid issues. Kit Lender did everything wrong. When FedEx tracking showed delays, I proactively contacted the company on December 31. I was reassured they were "working on options." That reassurance turned out to be meaningless. Fast forward to January 2, the night before our 8am flight, and suddenly I'm told nothing can be done. It gets worse. When I called customer service, I was actually told that I should drive to Billings, Montana to pick up the shipment myself from a FedEx warehouse. Let that sink in. Their proposed solution was that I abandon my travel plans to fix their logistics failure. I asked a very reasonable question: why not arrange Saturday delivery, since the items were already sitting at the Billings FedEx facility? I was told a manager named Ben would call me back after speaking with FedEx. He never did. Instead, Ben sent a dismissive email claiming FedEx doesn't deliver to business addresses on weekends. I immediately responded clarifying that we were staying in a private home, not a business. No response. I called again asking for Ben. The person who answered hesitated, clearly knew who I was, and said "uhhh... is this Nikki?" before telling me Ben would call me shortly. He never did. I have now called four times and am sent straight to voicemail. No callback. No urgency. No ownership. Here's the part that matters most: This was a bucket-list trip for my mother, who has breast cancer. She asked for her children and their partners to take her skiing in Big Sky. We spent an enormous amount of money on this trip. And thanks to Kit Lender's complete lack of accountability, we are arriving with no ski clothing for anyone and scrambling at the last minute to fix a problem that should never have happened. Yes, they offered a refund. And then they disappeared. Refunds don't fix ruined plans. Refunds don't replace lost time. Refunds don't excuse a total failure of customer care when things go wrong. Every company looks good when everything goes smoothly. Kit Lender showed exactly who they are when things were in distress. The answer was silence, deflection, and indifference. If your trip matters to you, do not trust this company. When it counted, they did not care -- not about our vacation, not about solutions, and certainly not about their customers.
