I really appreciate doing business with Stout! Before I purchased my house last year, I had them come out to inspect for any infestations. They were able to organize the inspection easily, even though I was arranging it from Houston between them and my realtor. Their flexibility was great appreciated, and their service was at a fair price.
Once I moved into the house, I hired them as my regular pest control. They did a quality job, and I never had to call them between scheduled services for any "touch ups."
About a week ago, I heard a scratching in my wall that sounded like an animal clawing for its life. A "Critter Ridder" type service quoted me about $90 just to inspect, and about $300 - $1000+ additional if there were a problem, depending on what kind and how many animals I had in the wall and/or my attic. By their own admission, it would be significantly cheaper if I were to just let the animal die and pay them to get it out then. Ick!
So I called Stout. They came out for a FREE inspection. It turned out I had 1 or maybe 2 rats in my attic. They set traps and scheduled two follow-ups to check and eventually remove the traps. My total cost for the trapping was less than $200. They ended up catching one rat, and I haven't heard any noise since.
My servicemen have always been professionally dressed, very polite, and very helpful. We've even had some quality conversations while they have been servicing the house! The office staff is also very helpful in setting (and even rescheduling) appointments.
Overall, Stout is a very personable and helpful company that provides quality service at a reasonable price. Make them your pest control service and you will never regret it! read more
