We are really pleased with the quality of Stott's work and the great customer service. We needed a palm tree removed and they came out almost immediately when we called. I had my backyard tree trimmed and two palms in the front yard by Mike and his crew. They were amazing and did a great job. Couldn't be happier! Mike is not only professional and courteous but responsible and reliable. Super nice guy, too. When I first contacted him, he responded right away and everything after that took place exactly as he said it would. I had five or six trees of various sizes that needed trimming. The quote was very reasonable and when the crew showed up they divided and conquered. The crew were hard working, very nice and knew what they were doing. Mike Stott and his team are exceptional at what they do. My neighbor and I hired Stott's Tree Service to remove a 3 story dead tree that bordered our property. They were in and out in less than 4 hours and cleaned up after themselves. Their prices were competitive even with some of the non-licensed contractors, which we didn't want to use especially since this could be potentially risky with the wrong team. Even stopped by months later because he was working on a neighbor up the street and saw one of our branches on the palm was dead and falling down. I had Stott Tree Service trim my trees and cut one down and remove the stump. They showed up on time, did the work professionally and even placed a tarp over my car to prevent leaves from falling on it. They protected my windows of my living room in case of a wayward limb were to strike it. I was just totally impressed with their service. They were in and out in about 2 hours and besides from the beautifully shaped trees you would never have known they were there. Not one single leaf was left behind. Mike Stott and his crew are just great. They removed a large tree (35-40ft) at the back of my property that was hanging over my neighbor's garage roof. They covered everything including my vegetable garden and bushes with plywood to protect them from damage. They dropped the limbs one by one using ropes with such accuracy. First, let me start this review by saying that Mike Stott and his crew did a truly FANTASTIC job trimming the trees in my yard. I am so happy with the way they trimmed and shaped my trees, and treated my property, and my neighbor's property, with the utmost respect. All of the trees that I had trimmed by Stott's Tree Service are very large and more than 30 years old. Up until I hired Stott's Tree Service, I had never, ever been happy with any of the tree trimming professionals I had hired. Every year I would try a new tree trimming service, hoping that the experience would be better. When the last tree service, dropped a huge tree limb onto my neighbor's roof, well, I had pretty much given up hope on finding any company that would make me happy. I had seen Stott's Tree Service signage around Burbank, so I decided to give Mike a call. When I met with Mike, he explained that he only worked on Saturdays, because he has another full time job, and it would be three weeks before he could do my trees. I was surprised by this news, but not deterred. He was honest and his bid was less than I had ever paid for any tree service before. Mike and his crew showed up at 7:30 am and they were done by 9:30 am. They trimmed my trees by hand and never used one chainsaw! Every company I have ever hired only used chainsaws and Stott's Tree Service used handsaws! I was shocked and thrilled. My neighbors were equally thrilled because they never had to deal with the noise of chainsaws. Now, I am sure this is not the case for every tree that has to be trimmed, but in my case, Mike said there was no need for chainsaws. In addition, I had a squirrel nesting box in one of my trees and the crew made sure not to disturb it. Again, they showed respect for my property and the wildlife! They cleaned up beautifully and nothing was dropped on my roof or my neighbor's roof. You can be sure that I will be calling Mike Stott each year to have my trees trimmed. YOU SHOULD, TOO!
