I've had a storage unit here since sometime in 2010. Sometimes it's empty, sometimes it's full to…read morethe brim, sometimes I leave papers and other useless junk I don't feel like lugging into my new home. It always comes in handy that I have this unit and it doesn't hurt that it's in the NE so it's in a rather central area of EP no matter where I move. Aber is an outdoor facility, no climate control and it does get rather sandy in the units (although their is a rubber seal at the bottom of the door). The lighting is sparse at night so if you're actually coming at night you may want to leave your headlights on so you're not having to search one handed with a flashlight in the other. The entire grounds appear to be designed with flooding in mind because it's literally all downhill and each unit is up on an inch ledge. I've never had anything damaged here because of the rain. It's all still fairly new and in great condition. There's only one entrance/exit and it's controlled with a code. I kind of hate the key pad because you have to long press certain things for it to even go through which can be pretty annoying if you haven't gone in 6 months and forgot about that. Also pulling in is a little tricky if you're in a Uhaul and actually trying to reach the key pad. When I originally got this unit they had just finished building the place and I was told my unit was the very first one being rented. The owner's niece was managing Aber at the time and she was extremely nice and all, she even gave a huge discount on the unit (especially compared to where their prices are today), but I was waiting for a cookie or something. You don't tell someone they're the very first ever to do something and not give them some kind of prize. I'm in it for the cookies, man.

Didn't come here to rent a truck (although they have many available for very decent prices)…read more Instead I just simply needed some boxes. Seems simple enough, right? Well, little did I know, boxes come in every shape and size imaginable. I was kinda overwhelmed lol. Located off Montana near Hyundai of El Paso, this little gem not only has every size U-Haul truck you can want/need, but also has a storage lot (storage units) on site for you to store your belongings. And when it comes to packing, they literally have everything you can imagine from wardrobe boxes to tape to scissors and markers and everything. The boxes are reasonably priced (considering), but they are cheaper if you buy it in bundles. The bundles are clearly marked and you can get sets of 10-20 of whatever sizes you need. I wasn't sure what sizes I'd need. The extra large was too big. The Small was too small. The fancy boxes with clothes racks or dishes sections etc were just too fancy. So I was stuck between medium and large. Now the bundles are all one size, no mix and match. So what would I get? Well the super friendly staff was right there to assist me and we decided on large boxes. Bought a set of 15. Now then it worked out, but had it not, there's an awesome "catch". Let's say you needed a different size. Or, you didn't need all 15 in your bundle. NO PROBLEM!!!! As long as the box hasn't been used, no tape no nothing, just folded up flat in its original condition, THEY WILL BUY IT BACK FROM YOU FULL PRICE!!! Yup. Just take the unused boxes back and you're good to go. And dude even loaded the 15 pack bundle into my car for me. Such a gentlemen. (I have a bad back and 15 folded flat boxes are cumbersome and heavy lol. Don't judge me). I don't know much about U-Haul stores, but this one on Montana is the bees knees, Mayne!

I can't even begin to express how incredibly happy I am with this business. I have been doing…read morebusiness with them for two years and mostly out of necessity for my business, I needed a secure location to keep my more valuable possessions. The premises are well lit and I really feel like my items are secure in their storage facilities. The actual units are very high so if you can organize your belongings, it is definitely a plus. They also have a plug and lighting just in case. The rates are very good when weighing the options given and what is offered. Just can't say enough wonderful things about these guys. I am moving soon so I will be renting 2 more larger units. Well worth every cent and a true pleasure to work with.
