The total install time was less than 2 days, and everyone was friendly, efficient, and professional. To begin with, Heath will be your consultant, measure and give you estimates, talk about color options, etc.. We went with dark bronze, which is a very rich dark brown (almost black). Heath is so great at answering questions and getting back to you promptly. He made the process very pleasant and stress free. Once the decision is made, the measurements will be double-checked by another person, and doors/windows will be ordered. They will work with HOAs and will do all the permitting and inspection scheduling. On the day of the inspection, you will have someone come early,make sure all is good, and then once the approval is done, finish all the details like capping screws etc Johnny and his son John were absolutely fantastic, so friendly, extremely thorough, and went through everything twice and more Any concern was addressed, and they literally took all the time needed to make sure everything was perfect. Some info: - Plan ahead as it took about 3 months for everything to be custom-made, so don't expect a fast turnaround - You will have a little out of pocket cost for fixing parts that are a result of changing old doors like tile or stucco repair (like if the old door was too big and the old tiles didn't go all the way). He was then going to fence in our pool. Neighbors have used Steve and his reviews are generally good. Our old screen was collapsing and this was a hazard. He assured us he could get it done within a week. He came out more than once and gave us a price. We agreed. He came over to drop off temporary fencing to secure our pool area. Everything was great. About a week later he texted us to say "great news" your materials are in. He asked to be called into the gate so his sons could drop off 2x4s and materials to remove the old enclosure. A few minutes later his sons arrived, put the temporary fence they dropped off last week back in their truck - and simply left. A few minutes after that, we received another text from Steve saying: "I'm sorry I will have to pass on this job. I think it's better to leave on a positive note". We thought the text was sent by mistake. We texted and called him promptly to see what this was all about. We called again, and again... Straight to voicemail. Needless to say, how extremely SHADY of him to LIE and say he is dropping off materials and needed gate access when his true intention were to just retrieve materials he left on our property and bail on the job. Flat out lied! Who does business like that? We still have not received any text or call from Steve to provide us with any legitimate explanation as to why he canceled the job. We had 4 other estimates scheduled, but Steve was the first one to give us a quote and we really liked him, so we gave him the job within minutes of receiving his written estimate. He came over multiple times to measure, drop-off temporary fencing, walk through the details of the project, etc. We were left puzzled and extremely disappointed. I cannot believe a business owner would conduct business this way. We are so lucky that we had not yet given him 50% deposit.
