G&D did a great Job. We moved into a new home. The cadge was discolored had some rust and of course old brittle screens. They completely refurbished the cage with new screws, replaced some damaged pieces. pressured cleaned and painted the cage. Yes all new screens. The cage looks brand new. I've been using this company for a while in the beginning they were extremely slow with responses. It still takes them a day or so to get back to you. But their pricing is fair their work is excellent they're just not the quickest with their response time Their knowledge and work is top notch. William came by that afternoon and gave me an acceptable quote, to replace all screens, replace any missing screws, and ensure screen doors had new hardware. The work was scheduled for a couple of days later. The work crew arrived, began the project with pressure washing the structure, making repairs, and replacing screens. This company is horrible. Never use them. They came and did an estimate and i then told them to go ahead with the job. Then they took weeks to just return my call to even schedule me. I explained that I understand they may be booked and busy but someone should have at least returned my call to tell me I can't be scheduled for weeks. She said there was no winning and hung up on me. I know of 2 other customers that used to use them and had the same problem and as a result have now found someone else. Then they saw my review of their company and texted and emailed me with sarcasm and attitude questioning my review. The right thing to do would have been to say i saw your review and I'm sorry you are upset how can we make this right or do work for me say nothing to me and prove your worth. In their email they told us our need for getting serviced sooner because of the city notices and fines was not their problem. They also lied and said the city doesn't care. Guess what i have the notices to prove it, they care. They also lied about other things like giving us a good deal in the past which we never asked for, they did it on their own. Lastly they told my husband they called me to schedule an appointment which is a flat out lie. HORRIBLE customer service and company. Not even worth a star. They were incredibly unprofessional. After receiving 2 other estimates to redo my screened patio and replace parts to the screen doors, I contracted with G & D because their price was lower. However, you know the old adage' "You get what you paid for." I learned that the hard way. I was never informed by the salesgirl that there were different screen options available. My neighbor had a much finer screen which helped to keep out no- see- ums. When I asked her about it the day of the installation, she said "I should have asked for it, and by the way, it's a lot more money." The screening job was nicely done by two young Hispanic fellows. They did, however, leave lots of trash in my gardens around the screen enclosure. Two weeks later, both doors would not close properly. I called G and D to have them adjust the doors. It took SEVEN phone calls for them to finally come out and adjust them. This was 5 months later, too, I might add. In addition to adjusting the doors, the rubber strip at the bottom of the door needed replacing. They didn't have the material on the truck to do that so they'd "be back first thing tomorrow"..... Well, it's been one week later and they haven't shown up. I made another phone call to their office today and was told, "they'd be by". Meanwhile, she never even asked for my address . The first time I had called their office , Delila (??) wanted the names of the installers and was angry at me for not knowing their names. Are you kidding me?? Aside from saying "hello" to one another, and "goodbye", there was no conversation between us. Somehow I have the feeling this rubber strip won't be repaired anytime soon. For their poor follow up and lack of customer service, I rate them a one star. read more

This PM storm blew in one of the screens on my pool enclosure about 2:30. Called G & D, whom I've used before. Lionel came over about 5:30. Fixed/replaced 5 screens and installed new hardware on both my screen doors. Finished by 7:00PM and very reasonable charge. Even reinforced some of the support beams and door jams with NO charge. I had G n D screens come out and they gave me a price to repair my screens. I spoke with William on Friday supposedly one of the owners and he gave me a appt for Monday 10/9 I told my tenant so she would know to expect them. Moday morning I texted and called the office # and Williams cell number to confirm they where coming, no one got back to me I wasted a whole day waiting with no reply, tuesday 10/10 on my way to get a x-ray I got a call from william saying he would be by in 45 minutes, i told him I would confirm with my tenant and gave him the go ahead. Im at the house and before I knew it they left and William texted me saying he needs spline and would be back tomorrow. So I asked him if he was sure because this is 2 times my screens where going to be repaired and one whole wasted day. So William got bent out of shape because I asked him to make sure he would be there because it's a waste of my time and he told me to get another screen repair company!!!! Very unprofessional and rude. This is only happening because they have alot of hurricane work but it doesn't mean you don't respect your clients! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had the displeasure of dealing with 2 very unprofessional people after receiving a coupon for their company in the mail. The worst of the 2 was Delia Velez. I had a gentleman named William come to my home for a quote on a screen replacement as well as a quote on a complete frame / screen replacement for our upstairs sliding door. William seemed very nice and told us he would be back to us in 1, no later than 2 days for the quote. Great! Day 3 no phone call back. I call the company and give my info to NASTY Delia. She says she will have William get back to me. 30 min later she returns my call stating they do not have the frame I need, which was fine but why no call prior?? So I mentioned that it was quite unprofessional to not get the callback especially since the upstairs was not the only thing we needed fixed. DELIAs response was: We have no time for this and abruptly hung up on me. BAD BUSINESS ETHICS!!
