We rent a unit from the Paradise, MO location and had been told by others who rent from the same…read morelocation that they had gotten notifications 60 day in advance that their rent was increasing. We kept waiting for the notice via email but didn't receive ours until April 28th at which point we were notified our rent was increasing $70.00 per month. We started looking for other storage facilities and then reached out to ask for a price match from RecNation which took a few days for them to respond and then they still weren't going to match the price we had. We then emailed to say we would be moving out before June 1st as the original rental agreement said we had to give 10 days notice. We received an email back saying that as of January 1, 2024, there was a change that a 30 days notice was required. We never received notification of this change. We didn't have time to give them 30 days since we only got our notice 34 days in advance. We feel that RecNation has deceptive business practices. Ironically, we get emails all the time from them about giveaways, must be why they raised their prices so much.

I had almost given up when stumbled on this newly opened location. I left a VM & were promptly called back by owner Jim. He pleasantly described the property layout and our various options. I then logged onto his user friendly website & immediately reserved one of his affordable 40' sites. A few days later I regretted not reserving one of the 50' sites. I contacted Jim & and he gladly modified my reservation to a 50' without any hassle. Knowing that I was moving to Overland Park from out of state, Jim spent time on the phone with me answering several questions I had about the area. Super nice guy willing to go out of his way to help me out.
