I rented a storage unit for an extended period of time and the one thing that stood out to me is the high quality of service that they provide. Both Mike and Barbara have helped me on more than one occasion and went above and beyond to do so. This is definitely a business that demonstrates how putting a high priority on providing excellent customer service is important to them, something that is rare to see these days. There manager Ted says they don't mind the 100"s of invasive species urinating and crapping on their and my property and are not going take action! Storage Mart strikes again, I "reserved" a storage unit today on line and was sent a confirmation right away through email. I received a voice message "confirming" my rental in Big Coppitt. I told him I reserved for the location on Stock Island at 6401 3rd St, Key West only to be told they few available units there although my confirmation clearly had that address and not one single mention of Big Coppitt. BAIT AND SWITCH much Storage Mart? I asked him if my rent to going to skyrocket in a few month, at least he was honest and said it'd from jump from $23 a month to $150. The assistant manager was so helpful and so kind. He was up front about everything and very to the point. He was quick to show us the unit and when we turned down the larger more expensive unit he quickly accepted our decision and didn't push anything. He made what was usually an awful experience of grabbing storage units an actual pleasurable one. The units are clean and smell awesome. No funk! Floors are clean do are the walls and everything is very secure. I'm gold we found this place! read more

What a pleasant experience. I showed up to get more information on a storage unit for my small business and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. I got a tour of the unit I was interested in before committing. Needless to say with the nice staff, clean space and the option to have a temperature controlled unit I signed a contract. I was very happy with the simple process and have enjoyed using StorageMart as my storage unit. I would recommend to anyone else in Key West, hands down. read more

Don't ever get a storage unit from storage mart all they wanna do is take your money.. You could of been hospitalized and they don't care. I got charged for 3 months of storage units when I ain't even have my stuff in the unit I moved out, but I left a few things that was trash because I didn't have room to put it in the car. I get a call the next day cause there was no lock on the unit I said yes I told the guy I was moving my stuff out and she said if I dont get it out before the new month I don't would be charged a cleaning fee and id be locked out the unit I said ok. The day I had to get it out I was in the hospital couldn't go get the stuff so I was like okay I'll just pay the cleaning fee than. So I'm going through my emails and now I see all these invoices of them continuing to charge me and how I owe $854.65. I called them and they said if I don't pay them the cleaning charge right now that I'll owe the 854.56 and if I don't pay it it's going to go on my credit. Maybe next time when you have the person call and say they going to lock you out the unit and charge a cleaning fee to mention that you will continue to get charged as well even though you told them you were moving out the unit and you realize that there was a cleaning fee. I would figure that the cleaning bill would be the only thing I'd have to pay but nooooooo they wanna charge me for months that I've been moved out. Why would I get charged a cleaning feeeeeeeee if I was staying in the unit that makes absolutely no sense what so ever and get charged for a lock cut when there wasn't even a lock on the door. Beware of storage mart on stock island. They advertise a free month but it is a lie. The day you come in they will say oh im sorry if you had only come in one day earlier. Several people who also rented their all confirmed this. They take no measures for pest control....roaches run rampant. When it rains the gate doesnt work. When it rains heavily the whole place floods. They could easily fix the flooding problem by removing just six inches of a speed bump at the back of the property to let the water drain! But they dont care. They have the typical key west attitude. "All we care about is taking as much money from you as we can and we're not interested in fixing anything......and if you dont like it...leave" All the doors were sprayed with red primer but they were too cheap to paint them. As a result the primer is always coming off on your hands. When you rent a unit they will tell you to your face that if you leave early they will pro-rate your rent but when you leave she will say "we don't pro-rate out." And when I pointed out that she had told me that I would get part of my rent back she sneered and said in a sarcastic tone of voice "Have a nice day". Trust me you are netter off avoiding this place! There are alot of homeless people wh o have units there and they stand out in the open changing clothes! They are always hanging out in their units and when you show up they wil panhandle you. read more

The staff is very helpful. They had just what we needed at a very good rate. It is easily accessible from the highway and easy to use.

The storage mart manager Danielly was exceptionally professional and helpful and was willing to show me the unit late on a Friday afternoon . She talked to me about my storage needs and didn't give up until we found exactly what I needed!
