    I've been renting here for about two years now. It's been an average experience that just dropped…read moreto poor. Going back a little, I called in my usual monthly payment back in October. After finalizing my October payment, I asked the man about the deadline for my next payment. He said I was 'good until December'. I asked him about November, and he said I made enough payments to cover November, so I was 'good until December'. But now I'm confused because I'm here calling in my payment for December as per what the man said in October, but this other guy's talking to me about a $70 late fee. $20 for the first few days then another $50 after. Apparently they sent two letters, but the first letter must've gotten lost in the mail as I never got it. However, I got the second letter today saying I owe for November, and that the late fee was $70 and if I didn't pay immediately, they would move forward with 'remedies available to them'. I asked the staff member if I could speak to his manager, but apparently the manager doesn't usually hang around on site. How convenient. This is the first time I've been this late on a payment, and it's because of bad information that their staff member gave me. Instead of correcting their mistake, they're expecting me to pay for their staff members' incompetence and holding my property until I pay for their mistake. The staff member on the phone was quick to point out it wasn't him, but another staff member. It's really disgusting how they don't hold any kind of accountability for the errors of their staff members, and still expect customers to pay for THEIR mistakes. I'm cringing to think how quick he distanced himself from his co-worker, trying to cover his own @$$. He kept bringing up some other lady who didn't want to pay her storage, as if trying to equate me to her. So I cut his @$$ off and told him "I don't know who she is, and she's got nothing to do with me. I'm calling about my situation and the fact that your staff member put me in this predicament with no manager for me to speak to". Now I'm thinking to just get my property out of there and move over to the new U-Haul storage facility right around the corner. I don't care if they cost a little more. These guys boast being 'affordable', but after two years with them I'm not impressed. Especially when it would snow in, and I can't even drive to the back to my storage unit. They have low rates but you get what you pay for so caveat emptor. My suggestion, avoid these clowns.

    They seem to keep the place nice and free of trash and water. Access is 24 hours 7 days a week.read more

You park in a garage and get to unload/load your goodies in warmth. They have a spot for unwanted items. Many items we left were taken immediately, people seem to be grateful. 5x10 units run about $169/month. Their largest unit is a 10x10, but beware, some of the 10x10 doors are small...which for us, defeated the purpose of renting a unit that large. This U-Haul location has multiple levels with elevators and carts available to use. All workers encountered were helpful and hardworking. The place was always being cleaned and looked after. Cameras everywhere.

I asked them to check around and find me another truck. We have the Service HS student Football Team load and unload our Dog Show equipment. I made the reservation 2 mos in advance and can't let them down. Customer Service went to work and found a 26' truck here. I actually like the fact they are a new 8 month new U-Haul facility in town with newer trucks. New arrangements made, I was happy and it was ready for my pickup the next day when they switched my reservation to here from Old Seward. I actually liked their location better. The Dog Show and Football Team's loading and unloading went off on time and without a hitch thanks to U-Hauls Customer Service.
