We purchased a shed through New England Outdoor recently. I was nervous about making a purchase…read moreonline, without seeing their product in person, but I am so glad we did. It's exactly what they promised! It is what we need to store our snow blower, etc. I asked endless questions and the owner, Jon, and another employee named Lauren were incredibly patient. They answered every question within a day or less. I have had so many negative experiences with contractors, but this was a great purchase from the first email to the professional install. At one point, Jon said I could have the guy who installed our shed pad (see picture) call him if he had questions to ensure it was done properly for drainage purposes. I have never had such a positive experience with a major purchase-- of anything. I wish I needed another shed. I would buy one from them again. My suggestion is to find out exactly what you need to ensure a seamless install. They list details on their website for reference. Send them a picture and ask if it looks reasonably within their parameters. They answered every question. A good quality shed isn't cheap, but done well-- it's so worth the money. I want to add that the crew who installed the shed were incredibly professional. They showed up early. They worked diligently. They got the shed up in a very timely fashion and cleaned up better than anyone who has ever done work on our property. I highly recommend NEO and Eastern Shed who did the install. Great service. Love my shed!! Thank you--

Highly recommend. I could not be happier with my experience with the team at Powell. From start to…read morefinish, they were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. We hired Powell to paint the exterior of our home and their carpentry services to replace several rotted window frames for a three story house. Andre stopped by to perform the initial exam and was very thorough and knowledgeable on the work that needed to be done. Unlike other painters I contacted, the Powell team was easy to contact and actually showed up on time for the scheduled time slot. Their quote for the project came in right around the same as other quotes we received, and it was well worth the cost. I can't praise the level of service you get with Powell. Stephanie, who handles scheduling and billing, was on top of communications so that I didn't have to worry about anything. Even the owner, Bryan, stopped by at the beginning to inspect a few leaks we had in our ceiling to help us determine whether there were other issues beyond repairing the rotted windows for us to consider. They will even bring out the drone for inspection if you have a tall home. As additional rotted windows were discovered during the power washing, work orders to add additional work was clear and simple. Once the work actually began, it went so smoothly. Andre stopped by every morning and afternoon to check in and update us. Our crew, Thiago and Breno, were incredibly hard workers. They were at our home by 7:30 am every morning despite the terrible traffic and often worked past 7 pm even during a heat wave. The guys were experts on the ladders despite having a few high, tricky spots to get to. The worksite was clean after each day which I was grateful for as we have a toddler running around. The entire project took 10 days. While it moved fast, it didn't feel rushed and no corners were cut to finish quickly. They even paused the project for 2 days because of rain so that we didn't run the risk of streaky paint. After the work was completed, they insisted on us contacting them if we weren't satisfied with any part of the project. Our home looks completely transformed and brand new. I cannot recommend Powell Painting enough for a stress free and professionally done project.

Working with Powell has been one of the best experiences I have had as a new homeowner…read more I reached out to Powell to see if they would be willing to paint the basement room in the townhouse that serves as my movie room\home office. The color that the prior owners picked while nice was a bit too dark for such a small room. They responded to my inquiry the same day and arranged a date and time to stop by and look at the room. Bryan and Andre arrived exactly on time and took a look at the room. Super friendly, patient, and willing to address any questions and concerns. As part of the renovation of the room, I was planning on replacing the carpet and asked him if I should do it before painting the room or after. He strongly suggested to replace the carpet first since the installers tend to scuff the baseboards terribly as they are ripping the old carpet out. I followed his advice and did the carpet first and sure enough the baseboards were in such bad shape after that had I painted I would have had to repaint them. I'm so thankful for that. On the day of the job, Bryan and Andre introduced me to Freddie who would be painting the room for me. Super friendly, professional, and honest. After grabbing the paint, he laid down tarp to cover the brand new carpet and got to work on the walls. It's amazing how quickly he was able to paint this room. It felt as if every move was calculated. What's more impressive is that he conversed with me the entire time! During the end of day 1, Freddie called me over and informed me that the two coats of paint that the quoted me for the job would not be sufficient for cover the walls and they will need to grab another can of paint. I asked him how much extra would I need to pay on top of the quote and said nothing. They told me it would take two coats, it didn't, so it was on them to make it right. Freddie told me he already informed Bryan and he would stop by the paint store tomorrow to grab another can of paint on their dime. I wasn't expecting that at all but greatly appreciated it. In the early afternoon of the second day the room was done. I thanked Freddie and waited for the paint to dry before heading down to plan out moving furniture back in. It was then that I noticed that there were some areas in the room that we not completely covered. I reached out to Stephanie and she called back soon after and told me that Freddie would be stopping by again later the SAME day to take a look. True to their word, Freddie stopped by and took a look at the walls now that they were dry and he confirmed the coverage issues. He grabbed paint and did another pass on the walls which removed the old color. After Freddie departed I started to notice that that wall color is much much warmer that I expected. I tried various color temps on the lights to no effect. I took a look at the sample patch in the other room and confirmed that it looked very different and that maybe I might have made an expensive mistake with the paint choice for this room. On a whim I took a few pics and emailed Stephanie with my concerns. I figured at this point they'll I'm crazy and I didn't expect to hear back. After all, I chose the paint color, they painted the room perfectly, their task is done. An hour after I send the email I get a call, it was Bryan. He looked at the photos, and saw the same thing that I have seen, and he and Stephanie have been trying to figure out the root cause. It turned out that there was some miscommunication and an incorrect shade of white was used on the doors and trim causing white walls to become warmer than they should. He apologized and asked to send a couple of painters the following day with the correct paint to address. I already felt bad about Freddie having to come back so I told Bryan not to rush but he insisted. He knew I took the week off to clear out the room to get it painted, and he wanted to get the job done so I have the weekend to put everything back together so I can work on Monday. 7am the following morning Andre and another painter arrived with the correct paint and took a little over an hour to repaint the doors and trim. As soon as I stepped into the room the walls immediately cooled down. And the state of the brand-new carpet after they were done? Spotless. I love the room now. Snow like color make the room feel bigger and more comfortable. It's easily my favorite place in the house. If you're looking for painting service for your home and are within the service area don't bother looking anywhere else. It's not just the quality of their work (which is outstanding), it's their level of accountability. They will do everything to ensure that the job is done and that you are happy. They came back to my home at two separate occasions to complete one room and I didn't pay a penny more than what was initially quoted to me. I cannot recommend Powell enough and can't wait until I can get them to paint other areas of the home.

The targeted time was between 10 and 12. I watched these 4 guys and they were all business! They worked so well as a team and everyone had their role to play. The shed went up quick and I had done the prep on the site per Reeds Ferry's instructions. By 11am they were cleaning up and getting ready to leave. The foreman talked to me about the warranty and asked if I had any questions. I know this shed will last for 30 years because it is built very well with quality products. You may pay a little more for a shed at Reeds Ferry, but you won't need to replace it and you get exactly what you paid for. We couldn't be happier with them and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We had to wait a while before they could get to us and believe me it was worth the wait. These guys were professional and if you had your own business these are the guys you want working for you. Any owner would be very proud of them and they represent the company better than you would expect. A shout out to Truck # 17 for another happy customer of Reeds Ferry's!!! Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.
