Everything of value was stolen. It had to be someone who was also renting here, since I was targeted, and they seemed to know exactly how easy it was to simply walk right up to the unit from the back. There is NO fence protecting the entire back row. Anyone can walk right up from the parking lot at the VFW. All they had to do was remove a couple bolts from the thin metal siding and walk right in. The attached photo is what the back of my unit looks like. The entire back row is completely vulnerable. What is especially shocking is that the district manager, Scott, told me yesterday that there is NO security camera footage -- because the cameras are not functioning. Unbelievable. The site manager, Jennifer, is completely useless. I left her over 10 messages even before the robbery, and she never returned a single call. I've left her many additional messages and sent many emails since the theft, and she has never had the courtesy to return a single call or email. Everything that was stolen was collected from donations and distribution sites for folks affected by Hurricane Helene, so it's particularly heartbreaking because I'll never be able to replace all the new tents, heaters, sleeping bags, flashlights, headlamps, camping supplies, solar lights and so much more. And these people could not care less. Please, please. Get the word out to anyone who might be renting at this place. It is unsafe. Again: there is no security system -- the cameras are not operational; there is no fence to protect the entire two outer rows -- anyone can walk up from the VFW parking lot and easily break into these units; the fencing that does exist is torn down and no one cares enough to repair it. As I've tried to spread the word about the dangerous conditions at Storage Sense, 15 Fallen Spruce, I am sure word has also gotten out about how easy it is to break into these units. So, if you know anyone who is renting at this place, please tell them that they need to urgently move their belongings out to another storage facility.

My experience has been nothing but stressful, unsafe, and costly, and I want to warn others before they go through the same situation. My storage unit was robbed, and despite filing a claim with their insurance partner, ClaimsPro, my claim was denied because "there was no visible forced entry." This makes absolutely no sense, considering the access code and lock were provided by the facility--so anyone with internal access could enter without leaving damage. Yet they refuse to acknowledge that possibility. After the theft, I discovered alarming issues that the Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce confirmed they have received multiple complaints about, including: Customers being charged more than the agreed monthly rate The main entrance door often left unlocked, leaving the entire facility wide open No staff on site to assist customers or address safety concerns These are serious security failures for a place responsible for protecting people's belongings. I personally reported issues with accessing my unit back on August 30, 2025, and the company even issued me a credit because they acknowledged the problem. Yet when my belongings went missing, they took no responsibility. I removed all my belongings on November 15, 2025, and I will never use this facility again. I am also disputing the charges they continued to take from my account after the theft.

I rented a unit before driving across country to pick up a load and bring back. When I got there they had not replaced the broken latch, had a lock on it that the code they gave me didn't work on, and there is no human being by phone or internet to speak with. So I rented one at a better place. $$$ down the drain. Never even entered the unit. These people are thieves. Now they are saying I owe more money a month later.
