I've been renting at this location for over 10 years. I'd really like to give them five stars, but…read moreas of late the property has been neglected. The most urgent of these issues is a leaking roof. When it rains, the vacant unit directly next to mine has a puddle on the floor and so does the area in front of the elevator. I've stopped by the office multiple times, but nobody is ever there. I've tried calling and leaving messages. On the one occasion someone actually returned my call, they put a lock on the unit that was leaking (removed it from being rentable), but then a few days later, the lock was removed and the unit was again available for rent. It has since rained again, and the roof is still leaking into that unit. There are many other issues I've had with this property, but I'll leave it at that in hopes that someone at the company reads this and finally does something about the roof. I'm considering moving to a different facitlity, but this one is a great location for me, and I access my unit almost daily. Having to drive a farther distance, as well as having to move a ton of stuff, is very undesirable. If I can't trust that my stuff will stay dry, though, I might be forced to move.

The rent goes up fast!…read more The facility was clean and easy to access. The rate for the 5x10 unit was $51/month in August 2024 (after a $41/month introductory rate for three months). They increased the price quickly. In May 2025, they raised the rent to $66/month, and they just notified me that on February 2026, the rent would increase to $86/month. That's a 30% increase every 9 months, a 70% increase in a year and a half. I'm moving my stuff out before the next rent increase goes into effect. If I were to do it again, I would only consider Public Storage for short-term rental (less than a year).

I have been a customer with REC Nations for nearly three years, and until recently my experience…read morehad been acceptable. Unfortunately, an incident that occurred during their recent ground remodeling project has completely changed my view of this company. My RV was moved from its original spot to another location as part of their construction work. They have asked for my persmision to preform the task. During that move, my RV was damaged, resulting in thousands of dollars in repair costs. What has been most disappointing is not just the damage itself, but the way the situation was handled afterward. They didn't take any responsibililty becuase they asked me to sign a weaver. I made the mistake to think they are professional at what they do. BIG MISTAKE. I made multiple attempts to reach someone to discuss the issue and find a reasonable resolution. After several calls and emails, the only response I received was that I should file a claim with my own insurance, and the company refused to take any responsibility for the damage that occurred while my RV was under their care. After this experience, I decided to cancel my lease agreement. I had just paid for the upcoming month, and when I called to request a refund for the unused portion, the representative refused and simply stated that the termination date would be March 31 instead of April 9. After nearly three years as a paying customer, this response felt dismissive and extremely disappointing. Businesses make mistakes -- that happens. But how a company chooses to stand behind its customers when those mistakes occur is what defines their integrity. At this point, I am simply asking for fairness and accountability. I hope REC Nations leadership reviews this situation and considers reaching out to resolve the matter appropriately. Until then, I cannot recommend this facility based on my experience.

We rented 2 storage rooms here. One for 2 years and a second one for 3 years. The positive is that…read moreit is very clean. And seems very secure with gated entry and cameras inside every hallway. The reason got that 3 star is that they increased our rent every few months. It got to the point where rent was more expensive than my first mortgage! If you need very short term storage, this place is fine because they give you a cheap teaser rent rate to start. Then they start jacking up the price every chance they get! I just think there are less expensive better value storage places with the same level of security and cleanliness. We left when they gave us yet another price increase notice!

Amazing customer service from Barbara!…read more I've been renting a storage unit at The Attic Self Storage, and I just want to take a moment to recognize Barbara for always being so kind, patient, and helpful. Every time I've needed assistance, she has gone out of her way to help me and has always treated me with respect and understanding. Even during times when things weren't easy for me, Barbara was always sweet and willing to work with me. She never made me feel uncomfortable or judged, and that really meant a lot to me. I'm actually moving out of my unit now, but I definitely wanted to leave a review because Barbara is truly one of those people who makes a difference in a customer's experience. The company is lucky to have her! Thank you for everything, Barbara! You have been absolutely wonderful!
