Then on the day we'd agreed to he called early and asked if he could send his guys over early to move the Vino Temp. I agreed to have them come over early. There were no surprises and both Ben and Dave called the day of the move to make sure everything was done exactly how we wanted. The crew of 4 that showed up were a pleasure to work with as well. They were all very kind and professional and you could tell that even though they were working hard doing something not many enjoy doing, they made the most of it and had fun with it. It is always a hit and miss when you open up a truck after driving it almost 1000 miles but when I opened the truck up at the end of my trip, everything was still exactly where they placed it! I made sure I had plenty of blankets, plastic wrap, ratchet straps, etc so that they were not short anything and they used a lot of what I had there which I was thankful for. Then he put my clients tv in her truck with no kind of protection & she said if he could place something or wrap it but unfortunately he decided to disrespect her! Then the owner came to rectify the shitty job Kevin was doing as my client was beyond worried for the rest of the items and he decided to change the rate and not wanting to unload until paid. Once paid at unload he decided to not provide my client his INSURANCE as he stated that HE WAS INSURED! Now he insists that I have to pay for the repair also but as stated above HIS MOVER (KEVIN) was the one who unprofessionally broke the armoire placing on a 4 wheeler with not even wrapping it. So disappointed that I even referred these guys to her as I have worked with my client before with previous move and she had nothing but good things to say. Will NEVER REFER TO ANY OF MY CLIENTS EVER AGAIN! That's not how you conduct business if your business is at fault take the loss and provide your insurance especially if you are moving heavy duty expensive piece of furniture!
