Prices were also quite reasonable considering the quality and variety. This said, their tiger fish was at $54.50 a pound which is on the high end of the market. A major plus is the excellent food court, offering a wide range of delicious options perfect for a quick lunch or snack after shopping. Overall, JMart delivers a very Asian authentic shopping experience right in the heart of Flushing. This is the go to place for my mother in law.

When you shop and buy $50 bucks of products at Chang Jiang Supermarket within 90 minutes you get parking for free. Purchased $25 dollars and overstay 90 minutes. My parking fee was $10 bucks. Great deal compared to parking at other lots that can cost $12-$16. Definitely, the aisles were well maintained here. We shopped for papaya and staff was picking up the wrappers and sweeping the floor. Lots of sales when it comes to shopping for vegetables. Fruits are fresh and well packaged. DC Market (德昌DeChang in Chinese) is one of many places to shop, and they specialize in meat and takeout meals. This location is similar in size to their Chinatown location, though Flushing has more of a rectangular layout in contrast to the long narrow layout in Ctown. Their butcher counter is pretty much unparalleled compared to other Asian supermarkets with the exception of maybe large format Hmarts. DC carries a wide breadth of edible animal products both au naturel and marinated, including more familiar meats such as pork chops, short rib, flank steak, sea bass, running the gamut to less commonly appreciated though edible parts like frog legs, pork lung and hocks, beef tongue, whelk. Marinated specialties like tangerine peel minced beef and pork ribs in pickled plum sauce caught my attention, among many others. The second largest section is the ready-to-eat food section, with items pre-portioned in takeout containers, priced by the container. This area is composed of several counters with a wide selection of steamed, deep-fried, baked, sautéed and stewed dishes, all categories covered--vegetables, meats, carbs, savory and sweet--food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall food quality is not quite on par with good restaurants as some other reviews mention, though not too bad if you're looking for a quick simple meal.
