They offer an array of bites, including vegetarian dishes, which is what we were after. We each got the veggie burger ($19), which comes with fries or tots, or you can upgrade to their homemade soup or a salad for an additional $2. Kinda pricey but it was a lot of food, and we agreed afterward that we could have split the dish comfortably, since we aren't ravenous eaters. They make their own craft beer and cider, and I enjoyed a pint of their Bock beer with my meal. Fresh, crisp and smooth, especially on a toasty day. Our server was super friendly and efficient. Parking may be a little tricky but there are usually 2-hour free street parking spaces available nearby.

Mind you the reason I remembered this local place is during our recent Ice storm they kept heaters going and food for those who needed it and shelter. I wanted to go spend my money somewhere that definitely deserves it! When we got there they were so kind, the place is sooo clean and has everything! We were able to sit on the patio and watch the UFC fights, have food and drinks. We ended up staying for hours we liked it so much. The owner stopped by and was very kind and so friendly. ALSO their pretzel.. you have to get!! I'm a pretzel person and obviously a foodie; best one I've ever had!!!! With the beer cheese sauce with just a hint of spice! This place is so current with tons of screens everywhere, lots of games to play, all different sorts of seating, a full bar, the list goes on. I would highly recommend. Plus a huge thank you for giving back to the community when people needed it most! I will be back!! Tomorrow I do know they're hosting the Super Bowl!

Big City Gaming and Home Team Kitchen- 4 stars…read more Big City Gaming is a Sports Bar in Eugene. I went here on the 4th of July which is hella less annoying than 4th of July in the Mission in SF aka my hood. So my beloved Lotus Garden aka vegan Chinese food that is fab that I would frequent in the day when in lived in Eugene was closed on the 4th despite their website saying they were open and walked there to find out they only are currently doing take out. Damn like Kendrick Lamar So I walk back to Big City Gaming and the friendly bartender tells me that they have an all vegetarian menu even though it isn't pure veg aka they have non veg too. It's all good baby, baby. I am starving after walking heaps in the hard sun like Eddie Vedder. So I get some water and check out the all veg menu. Upon the bartender's suggestion I go with the jackfruit tacos. They were quite alright aka two corn tortillas filled with generous portions of fajita style grilled jackfruit, topped with cabbage, pico de gallo and our signature avocado crema sauce sprinkled with queso fresco. I decided to add vegan crema and non-dairy cheese for a buck. It hit the spot. I did feel like a fish out of water with all the screens showing baseball as basketball is my jam. I am a huge Warriors fan and sad we lost Donte yet he is going to the Knicks. Cool atmosphere with screens for sports and games such as shooting basketballs in the hoop etc. Recommended for sports night!

Batter on the fried pickles was heavy/hard and stole the show from the pickle (maybe use a lighter tempura style batter so we know who the star is). The garlic parm fries were good, but shouldn't have been the highlight. For the price we paid, I really expected more from everything. Nothing was special. Not wowed by anything really. Kinda let down by fellow yelpers on this one. Would only go back if I was drinking beer to try them out... hopefully that's where they shine.
