From the initial phone call, the woman I spoke with was incredibly kind and welcoming. Which already set a different tone than what I'm used to with anything DMV related. When I got there, it was just two people running the shop. They were clearly busy, but still made time to be present and attentive. The man who helped me (possibly the owner) was upfront and transparent about all the costs involved. I had a long SR-22 insurance lapse and if you're from Nevada, you know that's no small thing. Even though I ultimately had to pay the full amount per DMV policy (because I didn't wanna wait any longer), it meant a lot to me that they still tried to find ways to help reduce the cost. That kind of effort is rare. It wasn't just customer service. It felt like someone actually looking out for me. Their business fee was super reasonable too and they did a ton of work without charging anything extra. That kind of integrity matters, especially when so many other places will nickel and dime you. They also took the time to explain everything clearly. TBH, I learned more from them in 30 minutes than I've ever learned directly from the DMV. I'll definitely be returning for future services. It's hard to find folks in this line of work who are this genuine. They've earned my business and my respect.

They have 2 service lanes and the times I've been here, I'm always the only customer which is great for me. The old place I went to in Aliante has a Starbucks next to it and it was a pain in the you know what. And that's how I ended up finding this place - and not the many times I've been to Viva Zapata's. I'm giving 4 stars for the first 2 years I've had my smog check done here and not the most recent visit. The first two visits were flawless. I handed them my little postcard from DMV, I step out of my car and they take care of the rest: smog check and registration renewal. Quick and hassle-free process. My last visit, I pulled up, handed the young man my DMV postcard and I stepped out of the car. He asked me for my car key which was still in the ignition. He did the smog check gave me my paper and told me the amount for the smog check. I asked him "can you do my registration renewal" and he said "no". I told him I've been getting my renewal done with my smog check for the last 2 years I've been here. His reply: "our services are temporarily down." Whatever. I paid. As I was pulling out of the service lane, my car wouldn't reverse. I checked the e-brake and it wasn't that. The guy forgot to take his little contraption from behind my wheel! So, I stepped out of my car and told him. Next year, I'll do a drive by and if it's the same dude working here, I'll go to Aliante.

On top of that the service was outstanding. There was a small problem with my paper work and Jennifer actually called me while they were processing the tags and we corrected it with a quick email. Where if I had done it myself it would have meant at least one or two more trips to the DMV not to mention god knows how many headache filled hours.
