Diesel Car smog for AWD vehicles. (Rare to LV) Easy access location. No problems with service for 5 consecutive years. Recommend.

It was inspection time recently for my elderly truck. This requires more minutes than the modern vehicle which only needs a plug-in to a slot in the dashboard. For my 1993 pickup, the hood must be opened and a wire clamped somewhere within. Plus, it is necessary for a detection rod to be unceremoniously shoved up into the exhaust pipe at the rear of my senior aged NIssan!! OMG, poor thing! Nevertheless, however, this was conducted rapidly, professionally, and most certainly, efficiently. In no time, I and my only mildly embarrassed vehicle were on our way home. read more

Ripped-Off! Charged me $60.00 for Diesel Test. I showed my coupon to the attendant, He said: I don't need that. Then after the test he said: you should have showed me that first. read more

Roger answered my phone call and patiently answered every question I had. He also made me feel like my issues could all be taken care of and as a result, I'm driving 20 miles to go see him to get my truck smogged. Nice guy!!! read more

Smog Hut - They can give you $2.00 off from the coupon ! - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

I needed to have my car smog-tested as it was due for registration renewal. I'm glad that Mark - at Dealer Kustomz Direct - recommended this place for a no-fuss smog test. My car passed the smog test. Whew! Thanks to Roger for his fast, professional service! Highly recommended! read more

And the owner left me a message insulting me and insinuating that I don't undertand smog laws after I reported the shady way I was dealt with! This is what she wrote, "In the future, please know the laws of the city you live in before leaving a derogatory comment suggesting my employees break the law for you." They failed my car, saying the vacuum lines were improperly routed, and they are bone stock. It passed the smog sniffer with flying colors. Passed for the last two consecutive years no problems without changing a thing. What arrogance, instead of fixing the problem, attacking the customer for pointing out the problem. read more

I first went to their location in the parking lot right across the street. The guy there said "I'm out of smogs right now" and directed me across the street here. I've used both Smog Hut locations over the years and had hit and miss experiences as far as coupons go and them being "out of smogs" LOL! So I went to the location across the street and there was a line of 5 cars ahead of me. I will say the guy got the vehicles through in good time including my car. I checked in on yelp while waiting my turn and was happy to see a yelp deal that would get my smog for $15 instead of the $18.99 regular price. When I showed it to the guy who did the smog he got sort of an attitude and said that he wouldn't honor the yelp deal or any coupon and the most he could give anybody off is $2 max and only if they asked while trying to use a coupon. If they don't want people to use any sort of deal then they should remove the yelp deal and remove all the banners and signs they have posted saying that they will honor any coupon. That's just bad business to advertise that you will honor any coupon and then not do it. read more

I got there at 545pm and I asked if he was still open and he didn't really reply. But he starts putting chucks on my car so I assumed that meant yes. He completa the rest and I pass and I go to pay him and he says cash only. I tell him why, he says that the CC machine is turned off. I said okay there is no sign that says cash only so I had to run to get cash. He proceeds to mumble something under his breath and I ask him if that is okay. So I ask him loudly thinking he didn't here me and he claps his hands and me telling me to hurry. There was a car behind me waiting to get their smog as well as I ran to the convenient store to grab his money. I left him the money on his keyboard as he didn't even acknowledge me when I paid him. read more

I was really annoyed with my experience here! The guy was friendly enough was was talking to me about the weather and how I was from out of the state then my car failed because my check engine light was on! I was just annoyed because this is the first time I have had a smog test so I had no idea they cared about my check engine light (and the light is only on because of a censor that's messed up nothing that would effect my cars ability to be on the road) that and the guy sat in my car at the very beginning before the test why couldn't he have just told me it was going to fail before doing the test and making me pay for it??! I would have just gotten it fixed then come back but I am not going back there again that's the way you do business. read more

Great! Very kind and respectful. I'm happy and accepted yelp check-in coupon. In & out in less than 5 minutes! Awesome!

Wanted to use them since they are close to home and had an "accept most coupons" sign in front. Asked if they would accept one from a competitor, showed him the coupon and was told yes. After the smog check was done, was told that they could only take $2.00 off and couldn't honor the $16.00 price on the coupon. Then pointed to the $1.00 surcharge fee for debit/credit cards. So I am now $1.99 over what I initially thought I was going to be charged. After seeing other reviews on here, apparently I am not the only one to fall for their slick business practice. No, Smog Hut, I don't want anyone to contact me to discuss my $2.00. Just want others to know what they are getting into if they use use services. read more

I've used these guys for years and have never had a negative experience. They get you in and out quickly and the cost is only $15 dollars with a coupon or Yelp check-in. One note on Smog Hut, they don't have a free redo policy on vehicles that don't pass. Some places will redo a test for free but they usually charge quite a bit more. If you think you might not pass, be prepared to pay twice. read more

It was a fast smog check..... But on the banner it says accepts all coupons. I brought a 9.99 coupon from purrfect auto. The guy there says he does not take the 9.99 coupons but will do it for 15!! Wtf! Last time I checked that was an any coupon!!!!!! read more

Poorly trained staff. Has my truck on the dyno and shoves it into park before the rear wheels have stopped. Grinds the parking pawl and ring gear. I don't think he even used the brakes! The tech didn't seem to understand what damage was and could be done. I would not recommend this place to a diesel truck owner! read more

Download the check in coupon and get a discount. Can't beat that. Only downfall is bring cash so you don't have to pay a "service fee" to use a debit/credit card. read more

Great job! They honored a $15 coupon from the internet and they work Sunday. I'll be back!

I had the hardest time finding a smog place near northwest and then I found this smog location and the worker was so nice.

Got my smog test and when I gave him a $20 for a $19 charge he said he didn't have change. The guy was trying to force me to give him a tip.

Convenient location and fast courteous service! What more can you ask for? I'd rather not have to get a smog check every year, but since it's required I don't have a choice. I do have a choice of WHERE to get it done and from now on I will be using Smog Hut! Thanks! read more

1 star would be too much horrible service !! Over charged me extra because I got there 15 min before he had to close .. don't come to this place ! Never had this type of issue anywhere .. still had the nerve to say don't come Sunday's it'll be even more .. wow.. read more

Fast, easy, and affordable. It's a bare bones installation, but that's all I need. I'll go back again, for sure.

I have been going to this smog location for years and the staff is fast, friendly and very courteous. They have always accepted my coupons and given me the best deal. I highly recommend this location to anyone who needs a smog. #Bestsmogplaceintown! read more
