I do my bedding laundry next door regularly. Never any issue getting in and out. As for the ATM... they are not ATM specialists. They don't make them or service them... anyone who has a bank account is aware of gas stations being targeted for ATM fraud or a magnet for riffraff... it's embarrassing that I'm so close to a bunch of dumb asses who expect everyone else to protect them... privilege must be so luxurious. Go to your banks ATM ... if you're afraid of the ATM use the counter, to buy some chocolate donuts and a big ass Crystal Geyser, water and get cash back. I have used the ATM at the counter, recently and nothing happens to my accounts. Chill y'all. Personally I enjoy the Golden Guava from Track 7 and WhatTheHaze from Device Brewing my favorite! Also getting gas is here is the best. I am not saying that they themselves are putting the ATM/credit card skimmers on their gas pump terminals ... But they haven't done nearly enough to [protect their customers] from getting their ATM cards compromised. I had been getting gas from this location for several years. October 2017, credit card skimmers at this store had gotten many of its customers, myself & my girlfriend, included -- it was so significant, it made the local TV news. We were all hit with fraudulent bank charges by the thieves. Unfortunately for me -- according to my bank (one of the major ones) -- I was the only person who actually had money withdrawn from my account from this compromise. Luckily I was able to get the charges reversed, but not without jumping through some hoops. I should have learned my lesson then -- due to this store's location, it's just the most convenient place for me to get gas. And, hey, it's a small local business, I wanted to support it. A few months later, this store was hit AGAIN by card skimmers, and we were victims, again. After that, I was done, for good. 2-3 months ago, this store got all new, bright & shiny gas terminals. One of my friends slipped up, thinking everything was all good, and bought gas from there one time, in September 2018. As the saying goes, "All it takes is one time." He was hit with fraudulent charges, caused by the one time he got gas there. Needless to say, he's learned his lesson now, too. These skimmers must be getting installed by thieves in the wee hours of the morning when the store is closed and all of the lights are out, or even worse, when the store is still open and performed right underneath their noses. Perhaps the problem is that they close at 12AM in the morning, leaving the place completely unattended; perhaps they aren't paying attention while they are still open; perhaps they need to have someone on staff that can simply watch the terminals ... Whatever the case may be, they aren't doing what they need to do to protect their customers. This place does not get our business, and I would advise anyone stopping by in the area to AVOID THIS PLACE, too. Hopefully another businessperson buys the location and puts the necessary measures in place to make this a gas station that I would use again. Until then, I hope they go away... read more

For a long time have certainly frequented this establishment. It's in East Sacramento so it's convenient to me. I know they had the skimming problems on the gas pumps a few years ago. Not sure exactly what they could have done, but just generally it does seem to have taken them a long time to address. But that no longer is an issue here and I think a number of their lower scores on Yelp are driven by that issue from two or three years ago. Bottom line it's a good store. Feel safe. No real issues at all and I'm glad they're part of our community. Would certainly recommend. read more

I appreciate having this gas station nearby home and the guys who work there are great and friendly. I heard about the issue with debit card skimming so now i just go inside and pay. Easy fix. I went into get gas last might about 10:15 and my wallet had been stolen from Target, I was just there, ITS A TERRIBLE TARGET JUST HORRIBLE. Any way I live in Rancho Murieta and needed gas.. The NICE NICE YOUNG MAN OFFERED TO PUT $20.00 TO GET HOME SAFE NO STRINGS ATTACHED!! I said $10.00 was fine and would pay it back. He was not worried and so kind, thats the nicest thing anyone has done in along time. This is the hidden secret of East Sacramento when it comes to cheap gas. Sure, it's not the most attractive corner store - the pumps are older, the crowd from the neighboring laundromat can be interesting, the counter clerks grim - but the price per gallon is consistently lower than just about anywhere else, making it my fill up spot of choice. According to some friends, I should apparently be more worried about the quality of gasoline as opposed to the price. But I'm not driving a Maserati here. Gas by definition has to meet some basic standards to make it to the pump and I'm fine with saving $5 on a fill up and skipping the Techron. read more

This is the best place to get gas if you live in East Sac or Midtown. There are never any lines of cars waiting for pumps even though there are only a few available and it is usually around the same price as AmPm's gas so it's super cheap. It's definitely a hidden gem of a station and has some cool snacks and beverages available inside. Worst customer service and sells my drink monster nitro for almost double of all other stores. Even tryed to explain my drinks are 2 for 4 dollars plus tax at every other store in sacramento. Then today when I was about to spend money on somthing else the working was standing at the door getting some fresh air. He sees me walking his way he turned around and let the doo4 close in my face ... so rather than opening the door myself I simply turned around and walked away.. Be very careful here. Skimmers have been placed on their card readers several times and dozens of people have been victims of fraud in the $500-1500 range each. I got taken for about $1,100 (which fortunately my bank refunded). The operators may or may not be nice people but when their business model involves their customers getting victimized, something needs to change and they do not deserve your business. This is my neighborhood liqour/gas store. Their gas prices are usually 3-6 cents less than the Arco on J/29th which means it's cheap gas!! Their beer, wine and alcohol selection is very good. You're gonna pay a little bit more for good beers and smokes but we'll call it a convenience fee. Jesse, who works the night shift is a great guy! It's also nice to have this place right next to Sudz Yer Dudz & Coffee Works so I can grab a snack or a beer while waiting for laundry. Did I mention that you can buy single 22oz. beers!!! This is the closest gas station to me in East Sac. Initially I was frustrated with the lack of options, but I've found that this spot has gas reliably cheaper than the AM/PM on 28th and J. They have a decent selection of convenience store items, but I discovered a delicious gelato bar that I'm now in love with. They are polite, but only take debit/cash. read more

Sincerely disappointed in this business. The lack of customer service and overall negligence I experienced here is astounding. I have filled my tank here many a time over the past 3 years - never had an issue. I considered it the best place in East Sacramento to go! Not any longer - their gas pumps (specifically #7) do not have working sensors, so you easily overfill your tank. This happened to me for the first time. My tank was spouting out gallons of gasoline because the sensor failed. Even after removing the pump, gasoline continued to pour out of the tank for a solid 5 minutes. There is no signage on any pump that warns customers of this or recommending customers manually pump their gas. Even if there was, you'd still risk gas overflowing on you. Yes, I should have been more diligent about monitoring the pump, but this has never happened to me before. Three gallons of gasoline spilled on me, my car, the person's car next to me, and all around the area. I went inside to inform the employee working of the error and he completely disregarded me. Told me it was my fault, there's nothing he can do about it, and to get out of the store. I asked for paper towels to wipe the gasoline off myself and car and he continued to say get out of the store and he's going to lock the door. I wasn't looking for a refund, just simply some assistance in getting GASOLINE off my body. Apparently too much to ask for. The woman at the pump next to me was extremely kind and helpful - she knew the owner and followed up with him to see what could be done. I returned to the business this morning to speak with the owner (Cable), and was again met with awful customer service and lack of care. He said there was no way 3 gallons could have spilled and questioned me. I showed him my receipt, photos of what the pump displayed, and my car's owner manual which states how large my tank is. He said the pump was wrong and this is ridiculous. He then handed me $20 and asked me to leave. Again, I wasn't looking for a refund, I was looking for a solution so this doesn't happen to anyone else. The employees and management here could not care less about treating people with any type of respect or human decency. Be cautious when filling up your tank - do not walk away from the pump because this could happen to you. A note to the business - learn how to treat people and at the very least post some signage warning customers of your pumps' issues. read more
