Today I just returned a Mother's Day gift, a beautiful print panel with a mother reading to her child, instead I received some strangers photograph, not my photo!, A person holding a bag of chips! I told her that I think it's due to Spring allergies because my optometrist did not find any pathologies, so she kindly lead me to the Eye Care section of the store, where she gave me some brand name recommendations for allergy eye drops. I bought the CVS generic brand of Olopatadine HCL, and although my symptoms have not improved, I am grateful for the excellent customer service that Lisa provided. The only negative about this store is that my Verizon WiFi is inaccessible here. CVS customers must use Public WiFi, which I refuse to do out of fear of online hackers.

How am I supposed to know what he's doing on his end if the payment terminal is telling me to put my PIN # in? As I was leaving he yelled behind me NICE TO MEET YOU! In a sarcastic way. I ended up calling and speaking to the supervisor Jim who seemed like I was disturbing him and couldn't care less. I wouldn't come back to this store if my life depended on it.

The courteous gentleman on the phone made sure that the medication was dropped off at my door the same day! I'm a long time Babylon resident and used this pharmacy for years and never had any issues. In fact, just like this time, they always go above and beyond what would be considered good service. Walgreens Pharmacy has a drive through, but I preferred to walk in. They send a text notification when a prescription is ready for pick up and another when the prescription has been picked up. The pharmacy also has an app, where customers can view their prescription history. Lastly, the prices of medications are reasonable. I highly recommend Walgreens Pharmacy.

It's in a nice neighborhood shopping plaza and very convenient for me. It's rarely overcrowded at this store. They have a good range of products and like a lot of "drug stores" these days, they have many food items you'd find in a large convenience store.....7-11, Wawa, Bolla, etc. What might be called the downside is: it feels a bit dated in design & they never have enough cashiers there. Even when there are only a dozen or fewer customers you usually have to wait on a line of 4-8 customers and can easily waste 5-10 minutes there...because there is jut ONE cashier--pretty frustrating when you've only got 3 or 4 products to purchase. And potentially annoying if you are in a rush. I'd recommend this Rite-Aid to anyone who lives within 10 mins. But whether it's any better than other local brand name drug stores is questionable. 3 of 5 stars is about right I believe.

Today pharmacist/co-owner Nathan answered the questions that I posed of a medical device that I use and of a few nutritional supplements that I contemplated buying from him. He was a pleasure to talk to. The store associate was helpful, too, asking me if there was anything she could help me with. What I especially like about this pharmacy is that it is open on Sundays although only for four hours. Costco Pharmacy, where I usually get my medications filled, is not open that day. The only negative about New Island Pharmacy is that it is quite small, and parking is tight.
