Just like with my kids, I don't like watching shots being administered to my animals. The staff greeted me and my pet with smiles and made us feel so welcome. The vet tech that I spoke with asked if I had any concerns, and let me know what to expect and got my consent before treatment was administered. The vet came out and spoke to me personally and addressed all concerns or questions I had. I didn't catch her name, but she was super friendly. I am so glad I switched specifically to this vet and would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area!

You don't deserve even that!…read moreI had an equine life threatening emergency February 25, 2021 I called and spoke to triage person who said you'd call me within 30 minutes I told her my horse was going to die tonight if i didn't find a VET to help him. You were the closet to him and could've probably saved his life with early intervention. Never received a call back so after an hour passed I called again. Once again she said she'd call you and have you call me. I explained to her my horse had colicked and it was life threatening. My family and I spent 2 hours on 5 phones calling and begging for help. we finally found a VET to come from 1.5 hours away, but they were willing and I gladly accepted any help for him. I still held out hope that YOU WOULD CALL & COME HELP HIM. This DR. Had originally said no because of the distance but they called me back an hour later which by then we were over 2 hours into this emergency but they cared enough to call and come help him. Precious time had been ticking away. Almost 5 hours into his emergency they arrived assessed and treated him. It was colic. I can rest easy knowing that I, a nurse not a VET did all I could for him. If you don't want to handle large animal emergencies then you shouldn't offer that service. You should ALWAYS CALL YOUR CLIENTS BACK NO MATTER WHAT!! I have been a long time client of yours Dr KING and I am very disappointed. My beloved horse died, he didn't have to. You were the closet to him and likely could've saved him If you had cared enough to call and come try! I'm going to suggest you read the oath you took to refresh your memory. If you can't live up to it then you need to make a decision. I called your office Friday to complain about the very poor customer service. You should've at least called me back I continued to hang on to false hope that you were going to call and likely would come knowing my horse was going to die without emergency help. I told the triage girl that this was a life threatening emergency and without help he was going to die! At this writing I still have not received a phone call from you or your office. You need to run this case through a quality assurance review to ensure that this never happens again! My BELOVED HORSE DIED IS THE OUTCOME. I called their service (as directed) and left a message. Dr. Charlie called me back and was on another call at the time but he said I was next and he would be to our farm in about an hour. Perfect. Dr. Charlie arrived. Had a big smile and a warm, kind demeanor. He had been working for about 15 hours at that point. He conducted an exam. Did IV meds. Bandaged foot. Gave me all post visit instructions/meds. All with a smile and professionalism. He left my farm at 9:30 p.m. These are awesome vets. Smart. Kind and very compassionate. Our crazy black lab has been coming to Wags since she was 6…read moremos. old. While she's energetic now, she was like a cyclone back then! She needed (and still needs) an outlet for her energy. Wags is a great outlet for all dogs, because there's a big playroom where the dogs can mingle, play, run, nap along the walls . They are not confined to crates all day with just potty breaks and short play times. If a dog gets a bit over the top with playing, there's a time out. Our dog used to run with the other crazy puppies; and the older dogs taught her how to be a dog! After two years, she 's still happy at Wags and comes home tired when she's spent her afternoon there. The staff treats her well and is pleasant to me. I like that they keep records and notify us when our dog is due for a shot. Charlie has also spent time at Wags' kennel when we're out of town. She seems to do well at Wags n Wiggles, and for that, I am grateful to everyone!
