I gave them…read moreher medication with instructions to give it to her the morning of the 9th, as she had already been given her dose for the 8th. When I went to pick her up at or about 1539 (charged for another day since it was after 1200), I was told by the staff I talked to (there were 3) that my dog had not been given her meds at all, with no answer as to why. I asked if someone could call me with an answer. I gave her the dose as soon as I got her in my truck. Mike called and left a VM saying she did in fact get her dose that morning. When I called back to inform him that I just double dosed my dog with Prozac based on their misinformation, all he basically had to say was "sorry " and "better call your vet." If you are considering patronizing this business, please take this incident into consideration. For all they know a double dose could have killed her, and with certain other medications, it could in fact have. It's a shame because I was a regular customer and this location is very convenient for me. However, I think this was a pretty close call. Add the apparent lack of concern by the management, and I can no longer, with any good conscience, trust this facility with my dog.

I was impressed with the clean facility, nice helpful, efficient staff when I dropped off the pets. My wife picked one of the standard plans that provided walks and play time sessions for the beagle. The facility has spacious outdoor areas for walking and play. I did not see kennel area, but was assured that dog had his own cage. The cats were housed in spacious individual cages that have several compartments - one for water, one for food, a sleeping compartment and nice lounging area each. Before dropping off the pets, we had to present pet's current vaccinations records. Also, provide pet food (bagged for each meal).

The environment is much like home; I can confidently say that Charlie felt as though Diamond Kennels was his home away from home. On the day of drop off, the personnel could tell I was a bit uneasy. They reminded me that I could call as often as I needed to check on Charlie. Jill sent me photos of Charlie; being able to see Charlie having a good time helped me relax and enjoy my family vacation. When my daughter began to miss our fur-baby, seeing photos of Charlie brought her comfort. I appreciated the updates on Charlie's demeanor, his eating habits, exercise time, and experience during his stay.
