You know how it goes. Spoiler alert: it DOES exist, and you can buy it in-store, today! This Crate and Barrel is located in the Galleria, so it is extremely convenient for me. Despite it being Saturday afternoon (and thus busy), there was ample parking. To add to the positive experience, I was immediately greeted by a helpful employee who directed me to the microplane department, where I found my precious (mini-mandoline). Superb! The clearance department was close by, too, and I found a gorgeous stainless steel bento box (at a great price). My coworkers are going to be so jealous. The final "make for a great experience" happened in hole I was in line to check out--another helpful employee asked if I was going to pay with a card (I was) and offered to check me out right away, so I was in and out as quick as can be. The guy was amazingly helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to offer suggestions and tips. When I got my knives back they included a little note with a recipe to test them out and ab"thank you". It was really nice and I didn't know they give a portion of sharpening and class sakes to pay off student lunch debt (which is a ridiculous thing tonhave exist). They hold monthly classes for skills and sharpening as well as custom orders. If you can't make it during the day they have a drop box behind the shop you can put your knives in and they'll text you with updates. I will definitely be coming back for any knife needs.

They have walk up service where you order at the counter and I just wanted a simple iced almond latte. I waited 20 minutes for it. And I was not the only one. The young girl at the front counter finally had to go in the back to find the barista because a lot of people were waiting for drinks. It's summer so a lot of iced drinks being ordered but they were not prepared and they ran out of lids for their iced cups so were using regular cups. And the latte literally just tasted like cold almond milk. :( I was already running late for my hair appointment because of the long wait so didn't have time to go back in to get them to remake it. I will not be going back there for coffee.

I hired Gerhard's in Edina to replace my kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities including granite…read moreand quartz countertops. We selected the AristoKraft line of cabinets and are VERY disappointed in the quality. Junk!! The pull out shelves keep falling off the track. We've had to make modifications to make them more stable. Also, one of my bathroom countertops was not measured correctly so it doesn't reach all the way to the wall. There is at least a 1/2" gap that they filled with caulk along the front edge. It looks hideous. Plus they installed a damaged refrigerator panel, measured my crown molding incorrectly and now it juts out past the wall edge even though I spent so much time on the phone picking out a crown that WOULDN'T do that. They offered to take off $400 for the crown molding screw up but never fixed any of the other issues mentioned. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

It's a thick cut and it turned out to be delicious. The way it's separated makes for easy measuring. I asked a sales person for help with flatware, but they don't have a pure black set anymore which I got years back. On a lark I asked if you could get only forks since that seems to be what I lost most during the years. Well I picked up two forks at $7.95 each cause I didn't want to spend an extra 2 bucks each on others. When I get done at the counter I said I was curious about pasta dishes since many of mine broke throughout the last 40 years. The cashier actually brought out 3 different sets that were just beautiful. They weren't the dimensions I was looking for but maybe they just don't make them like that anymore. If they call it's usually "I'm here in front of your house!" What a gentleman! Was done in an hour. Perfect installation. Could not have been more thorough in explaining care and maintenance.
