Stonebriar mall has lots of shopping options (reasonable to high end prices) and a nice food court with fast food options. It can get crowded on the weekends but overall I like shopping there. I also like the movie ( AMC), books ( Barnes and Noble), restaurant (Cheesecake Factory), & entertainment ( Dave & Buster's) options. read more

This is for the GRINCH'S GROTTO. This was such an enjoyable experience! The staff was awesome. They were friendly & cheerful. The Grinch was funny & interacted with everyone. This is an interactive session for the whole family at one low price. My DIL & I took my 2-month grandson. We went in with low expectations because we had just come from the Santa Village & that was such a let down (see other review). For the same money you get 1 printed photo & a link to the others, an ornament for the tree, a small photo frame, and a Grinch sock. The staff let us take pics ourselves too! I really like this mall, it's in a great location, nice and spacious, with lots of great store options. I know malls are falling out of favor with our online shopping world, but this is a great place to spend the day. There are lots of great shops, and they are constantly updating and keeping up with stores that people want to see. The food court has lots of options, plus there are a ton of food kiosks throughout the mall with neat options! Pudding on smiles is great! There is a Dave & Busters is you want to play games, and amc if you want to see a movie, and a Barnes and noble for all your book related needs. I think this mall will stay open for a while despite the demand for online shopping. It's really just a great space, kept very well clean and up to date. read more

It was newly renovated, it was a nice day for shopping. Nice friendly crowd out on the 4th of July. Lot of really nice sales. But most of all, the red, white, and blue. Sitting in the foodcourt eating and I like to observe on how people interact, & react. You can tell a lot about a person true character is by their actions. Notice a lot of patriotism today of course it being the forth of July. Got some superficial people, all about the social media life, to many people keeping up with the Jones. You can tell humility. Someone is always better than someone else. One thing I cant stand is some of these uppity up pompous arrogant people that will leave a mess on the table and walk away. The big one are spills. Saw a family with a small kid 2 yr old being fussy. Mom picks him up kid moving around and elbows the drink and spills on the ground. Here's what bugged the me the most, they were sitting next to a trash bins that just so happened to have the cleaning lady cart with the mop and mop bucket with water. She was to good to get up mop up her mess. Which would have been a great example to her I think teenage daughters sitting next to her. So now when this happens to the daughters do you think they are going to clean up any spill in public??? Anyway for those of you that just grew up with everything done and given to you, learn some humility. For thos of you that worked your but off to get to where you are now. First of all let me start by saying the semi positive things about this mall. -It's very pretty. -It's big -Lots of parking -Wide variety of stores/food -Perfect location Things I don't enjoy: -The 100 degree temperature inside every single time! Turn down your AC people!! It's TX and it's hot especially when the place is packed!! -It's overcrowded mostly by teenagers. -It's HOT inside. -Even though there are a lot of parking spots there aren't any available. It's always packed. -It's HOT inside I don't know, I think I'm getting old and losing patience. All I know is that every time I have to go to Stonebriar, I leave in a bad mood and hating everyone lol! I have to admit at least they have a lot of affordable stores unlike other malls that only have the most expensive stores. I do tend to go a lot because I have a teenage daughter and that's what they do- hang at the mall . Plus I love JC Penney so I tend to park close to their doors and only go there and leave. However if they would at least crank up- WAY up- their AC, I wouldn't hate them so much!! read more

This mall has quite a variety of stores and is always very clean. However, if you are disabled, like I am yet still somewhat ambulatory, this is not the mall for you. Every time I go there there are escalators that do not work and elevators that do not work, I was there today and one escalator was completely out of service near the store I needed to shop at and so was the elevator. So that required a long walk down to a working one and a long walk all the way back. Also, I was surprised to see a lot of places not opening until 12 noon, even though they advertise 10 AM or 11 AM. That's not entirely the malls fault but I'm sure they have requirements for hours if you are going to rent their facility. The cleaning crew does an excellent job. But it seems to need to be better maintained. read more

Usually have good things to say about this mall, but today I experienced something I've not seen before. In the new garage by the Hyatt Regency, in the parking garage there is an aisle that has no exit. You drive down through 60 or so parking spaces to a dead end. You then have to back out thru the other cars now behind you. Worst design ever! Shame on you to design something like this! read more

Why or why did I go the mall this weekend??? OMG! Good thing I pregame before going... hahaha. The mall was crowded for tax free weekend and back to school shopping... oops.. my first mistake. The stores was crowded and I must say the line were long but it went fast for most stores. Stonebriar is a kid friendly mall with lots of selection of stores to choose from. Overall experience OK. LOVE THIS MALL! It's so clean and open, with glass windows all around the "ceiling" to really help let in the beautiful sunlight....it's even better on a rainy day!!! There are a few games around to amuse the kiddos and young a heart. We love playing the HUGE connect 4...and ALL of the pieces are still there to help kick your opponents tooshie! Yay! Oh who could forget the AMAZING, MOUTHWATERING Cheesecake Factory, nom nom nom! The 2-STORY Barnes and Noble is right across from it and one could spend all day in there... we have! There's also an AMC movie theater and Dave & Busters for even more fun... Ha ha ha. Parking is ample and not bad at all considering, which is great. I'm not a mall person, but love coming here. Well, I use to favor this mall until my son and a group of friends (6) to be exact were escorted out for a "walking violation". No, before anyone not present say well the must have been doing something wrong. I monitored the situation from afar and the explanation given didn't warrant an escorted removal whatsoever. I could state the obvious, but there is enough disparity based in inequality. I realize that the security officer was only acting as she was instructed to. Nevertheless, I'm a professional of the security industry and law enforcement which makes this even more baffling. I write policies and conduct assessments, there was no threat by this group of kids as that's why they complied so easily as I watched things play out. I love this mall because its busy but never too busy. Theres lots of parking but sometimes it can be really busy. Theres a parking garage and parking all around the mall. It has all the stores you pretty much need and they have lots of food and resturants like cheesecake factory, california pizza kitchen, and even a dave and busters! Theres an AMC too so you can go and watch movies. Theres sales that go on too and so its fun to come and visit and find something to buy. Sometimes its scary because you shouldn't be spending money but somehow you do when you see a sale. Pretty clean, nice people, lots to do in a medium sized mall space! I participated in a Holiday event here for Stuff The Bus. I went in to the mall to go get some Starbucks and it is a pretty nice mall. The elevators are neat because there is an interactive panel for kids to play on while you wait to reach your floor. Very packed of course because of Christmas shopping but definitely expected. My family and I went back after Christmas for specific shoes we were told that were available at Kidz Journeyz and I was very disappointed that was not true. We ended up having to go back up to Firewheel Mall in Garland to get the shoes shipped to their location. read more

I was in Frisco for a week and spent nearly every day in this mall for work. Love the selection of food, stores, designs, and even the architecture of this whole building! Don't know how exactly I can compare it to malls I've seen in LA or San Diego, but they have a carousel for crying out loud!!! And other things I'm not used to like shuffleboard, lots of natural skylight, a huge food court area with charging stations, and a big tv screen that plays most football games for everyone to watch while they sit and eat (and folks here LOVE their football) lol. Some of my favorite spots here are Dick's sporting goods, BoxLunch, Chick-fil-a, Champs/Under Armory, Texas treasures (because I'm a tourist lol), Kung fu tea, and that new Jamba they just opened up in the food court! Best believe I had a hay day getting some Christmas shopping done here at StoneBriar hehe read more

This mall has copious parking for curbside pickup and electric vehicles but not a single spot for expectant mother parking. I just had to walk a quarter mile in 100 degrees 7 months pregnant to my car. Please add expectant mother parking spots by the Barnes and noble / Cheesecake Factory. The guy with the Prius shouldn't get preferential parking in the front, pregnant mothers deserve to be comfortable!!! read more

WHY DID THEY GET RID OF THE ICE RINK?? too costly to maintain? nobody using it? i would have loved to ice skate but never got the chance. ya snooze ya lose i guess. (used to love eating over the rink and watching skaters now i cant. boo) movie theater on 3rd floor. shopping on 1st and 2nd floors. cheesecake factory and D&B are here weekends and holidays i advise being no where near here as its chaotic with so many ppl. and there really arent many "mall" doors. if u park at a store and walk through the store then leave well before close because once the store closes u cant get out. u have to find a mall door and then most likely truck across the lot and around the mall outside to find your car. ultimately i like this mall!! the bathrooms are clean. read more

I was visiting Texas this weekend and we came to check out the amazon concept store which is inside this mall. This mall is so pretty large and absolutely beautiful. It has all the stores that are popular and has great sales too. It seems to get pretty crowded with families on the weekend which is nice. There are plenty of places to eat inside and around the mall and parking is plentiful. read more

I actually only came here because I heard of a candy store called Loli's & Pop's. And maybe I should written a review for that instead *makes a mental note* but I just HAD to talk about this mall! First off, it's gorgeous! It's such a huge place with lots of shops everywhere. My boyfriend and I came here after having brunch at Nerdvana since it was literally right down the street. There's a huge B&N and a great selection of places to eat. There's also a NYX stand alone store. I need a moment. I've never seen a stand alone NYX store before! The day my boyfriend and I went they had this Lego event for the Lego store that set you on a hunt around the mall to find all the landmarks in the US made of Lego's. It was really fun and it helped us to venture into parts of the mall we might had missed! Surrounding the mall are various other shopping centers. I didn't get to venture around them except for going to L&L but I hope to the next time I come back! This is definitely a place I will try to make my primary shopping center. There's just so many different stores to choose from, everything from high end to The Disney Store (and we all know how spaced out those are)! read more

My family and I have been coming to Stonebriar since I was a little kid; I remember waking up early the morning after Thanksgiving to stand in line and wait for all the Black Friday deals every year. As an adult, I appreciate the convenience and the wide selection of stores, department and outlet; it's only a 7 minute drive or so from where I live now, so it's easy for me to stop by the Apple Store or the Sephora in the mall when I need to. My family loves going to watch movies at the AMC theater since they usually have the latest big movies, and at the height of Pokemon Go fever last year my friends and I would come to walk around and hatch our Pokemon eggs and pick up new items. I also really enjoy the food court and other food booths located around the mall; the seating in the food court is wide and spacious, and they recently got a Kung Fu Tea booth outside the JCPenney, which I didn't know about until I came for a Genius Bar appointment last Friday. I usually pick Which Wich or Sonic at the food court if I'm feeling hungry, but you can't go wrong with pretty much anything here. I will say that it's sometimes difficult to figure out where you are and where you need to go; I spent a while last Friday looking for a mall map to find where the Sephora and the Apple Store were and ended up just walking around and lucking out by stumbling across both of them, but this can be frustrating for someone who hasn't been here before/in a while. There are good signs for the big department stores and the AMC theater/food court but otherwise it can be hard to find your way around. read more

I often came to shop and hung out with my family on the weekend. Their food court are really nice and clean. There are a lot of restaurants from all countries. They also have many ice cream stores. The mall has a lot of great brand as Gucci, hublot, LV..., and affordable price brand as sephora, Zara...everyone need to try, and you will like it for sure. It's good to see this mall always super busy as some other malls in the metroplex are dying out. This 2 level mall with theater in the 3rd floor is a great attraction. Love the carousel on the 2nd floor. The fee has increased considerably over the years, now at $3 a ride. The food court has a wide variety of selections, but if those won't suffice head over to Dave and Busters or California Pizza Kitchen. The Barnes and Noble is 2 floors and awesome for any book lover. There is an ice rink for skating too. The worst part of this mall is the kiosk vendors pushing their services like you're on the Vegas strip or on the street of New York. I will come to you if I need moisturizers or hair treatment...don't grab my hand when I walk by, that's borderline harrassment. read more

In a time when shopping malls are stagnant, boring and closing, Stonebriar Centre is a huge exception. This vibrant mall is full of great shops, dining options and of course... a movie theater. It's easily one of the best malls I've been to in the past 10-15 years. Enjoy! read more

Oh my goodness! I have never been to this mall till this last trip and I'll probably never go back! It was stroller and screaming child central! I have never seen so many people pack into a mall when there isn't an event going on. There were little kids running around everywhere. Beware of the stroller moms! They have no shame and will run you over if you don't get out of their way. The mall itself is SO loud. I felt like I had to yell just to talk to my boyfriend. Go to Northpark if you want a busy mall that isn't horribly loud and taken over by rambunctious kids. read more

Great mall. They have plenty of stores to shop at and have plenty of restaurants to eat from or within the area. Although they have a huge parking lot, it will still be hard to find place to park on the weekends. It is located off Preston and 121, in Frisco. Again, there are some many restaurants to eat around this mall, so you definitely can make a nice day trip out of it. I could list the stores here, but it would be better to check online. Overall, a great mall to go to whether to buy, eat or return items. read more

Security is on a power trip. One of my friends was wearing a Spider-Man mask to build hype for no way home (as it has just released) and a security guard threatened to kick us out and refused to acknowledge me when I spoke. Overall extremely rude as we've been here 3 times while he was wearing the mask and nobody had an issue with it. read more

I enjoy shopping at this location. Place is away clean and neat. Parking on the weekends can be a zoo....just as any popular shopping mall. At any rate, the valet is quick and easy to use. Their history... In the 1980s Frisco government leaders realized they needed an economic engine, something that attracted not only people, but money. They decided there was no greater economic driver in North Texas than a shopping mall. In 1988, Jerry Rosenholtz of Homart, the parent company of Sears, planned on putting a million square foot mall in Frisco, a town of about 6,000 people. When Plano learned of Homart's plan they offered $10 million if the company would move its planned mall across the road into their city limits. Frisco battled to keep the planned mall and was able to work out tax incentives to close the deal. Plano then convinced another company, General Growth Properties, to place a mall within their city limits. In 1995, General Growth Properties bought Homart which already had a signed agreement with Frisco. Frisco made a final offer to General Growth Properties of a half-cent sales tax rebate, property tax abatement for ten years, and infrastructure improvements in and around the mall. Plano continued to fight for the mall and Frisco eventually had to up its sales-tax grant. Frisco finally won the fight and on August 4, 2000 the 1,600,000-square-foot (150,000 m2) mall opened. I personally hate the mall. Any mall really. I don't think I've been to a mall in many months and if i do, I'm going in one store and getting out of there. Stonebriar is one big mess and this review isn't even really about the mall itself, more about the people. Traffic and parking to get in is ridiculous, people apparently think there is only one entrance to get in the mall (the front entrance off 121) so literally every single car and person is trying to get in this one entryway when there are multiple other ways to get in here. So this causes a huge back up not only on the highway but also into the parking lot because everyone's crazy and doesn't know how to drive. And i haven't even made it into the actual mall yet. Kids and adults alike running around with no manners and no awareness of anything that is going on around them. Ughhh I'm stressed just thinking about it. On the plus side they do have a wide variety of stores, many options in the food court and always have samples being given out. If you like the chaotic festivities of the mall then this is for you! Love this mall. It doesn't have all your designer stores but all I need is a Nordstrom (my favorite Nordstrom location) and Sephora and I'm set. This mall is always busy on any given day. That means high turnover and that new item that just came out is most likely sold out or out of your size. If there's a deal like 5 for $25 at Victoria's Secret or a new line coming out you better get there quick. I worked here when I was in high school and I can honestly say I always felt safe even carrying out big deposits. There's always mall security around and probably a regular police officer near by. But I found myself admiring the asymmetrical ceiling design rather than the storefronts... and working hard to avoid the crowds of teenagers weaving in and out of the kiosks. I love the look and location of Stonebriar. Everything is spotless and so organized everywhere. The only downfall for me is the layout and the store choices. It is hard to remember the layout and get around. There are many sales people that approach you which honestly makes me feel bad and anxious. But I will say we had fun exploring. While there are not as many stores as Galleria...the stores are huge so you do get more choice. Still worth checking out! read more

I like going to this mall with my baby. Although they don't have a play area for her, there is a carousel at the food court. I'm not ready for her to ride it but it's good to know it's there when she will. I like how there are so many sneaker stores here. One day I'll take the time to go into them to find some Adidas Ultraboosts. I also like there's Dick's Sporting Goods too. There is covered parking but limited. read more

I loved it!!!! We attended the DFWKIDS Model search and it was great... They had all kinds of things to check out giving out all kinds of information.
