He stained and finished our concrete floors in our BRAND NEW house and the end result was awful. The finish is patchy, not shiny or smooth at all. The concrete is rough in spots and smooth in others. He refused to fix it, instead implying the end result was my fault because I did not communicate what type of finish I wanted. He asked for payment before the job was completely finished, assuring me the finish would come out "when the light hit it." Of course, I trusted him and paid him and then it was all over for me. His crew removed my interior doors to do the floor and when they rehung the doors, five of them wouldn't shut. When I brought this to his attention, he said he wasn't responsible because he "didn't manufacture or install the doors." Funny that they worked fine before his crew messed with them. My general contractor graciously fixed them for me. Wes did offer to put two coats of wax on the floor, but I was under the impression that this floor would not need upkeep. He said he could not put any more finish on the floor, but I called the manufacturer and the manufacturer indicated he likely used the wrong finish and I COULD put an epoxy on the floor if I lightly scuff the existing finish. Wes took NO responsibility for the problem, instead simply repeating over and over again that he did the job exactly as he said he would and that he had NEVER had a problem with any customer. I have seen his work on other floors and it was good, but mine is NOT. After spending 6,000 dollars on this floor, my husband I are going to spend the weekend following the manufacturer's instructions and try to fix it. Wish us luck!

Our new deck and stairs have Deckorators brand Vista Ironwood planks which were beautifully installed on extremely sturdy, nice looking new supports. Because we encountered some delays due to specific railing material unavailability, the need to expand the scope of work needed due to more extensive support rot than anticipated, and an already very busy work crew, our project took longer and cost more than initially expected. We recommend Longview Decks as long as you are ok with similar situations and communicate your questions, concerns, and requirements as needed.

I am waiting for warranty repair on my deck for 14 months; my deck has boards that are loose and create trip hazard and on 12x16 section middle of the deck has a hump that creates water puddles on both sides. First year I had to call for warranty 3 times because incorrectly installed boards were popping out ( and they still are). For this pricing quality is simply not there. Last year 2024 in March person came in and evaluated the "hump" for warranty repair and they were ghosting me ever since. My last resort is the court so be warned!

This range only self cleans by Aqua-Lift technology- Distilled water in bottom of range so it steams a little. Moseley told us that was the only method being offered due to safety. It does NOT clean. I went to them in fall wanting a fast growing tree to put in my front yard. They didn't have much…read moreto choose from and I should have left then. But a sales lady showed me a magnolia tree where one side had been cut off. It looked strange, but I was assured it had only been damaged in transport and would fill out get new branches soon. They're the experts, so I bought it. A man, I assume was the owner, started yelling at the sales lady saying she left her walkie in the bathroom and he was trying to get ahold of her. She had other customers who wanted to buy more than a tree! He said this in front of me, like I didn't matter!! RUDE! By the end of spring one side of the tree still had no leaves or branches, the other side looked like a few branches had died. I called and they gave me the lady who sold me the tree. She said to cut the dead branches off and it would be fine. I did and a few weeks later more branches would snap off. I called again and was told I must have planted it too deep. I took photos for them, it was planted right, must be too much water, or not enough water, or the soil wasn't good enough. They wouldn't ever admit they sold me a sickly tree that they knew there was something wrong with it. Fast forward a few years, their news letter says if you have questions just ask. So I emailed asking questions about mulch, how to prevent weeds over winter and the best time to fertilize. Danny emailed back and said he would call. I have the Home & Garden's ID on my phone but never got a call from them. I called them a week later asking for Danny and said he was going to call me. A girl said he was with a customer, but she would give him the message and have him call me. It's now been two months since he said he would call and hasn't. So I think their communication is terrible, they don't seem to care if they sell their customers bad plants, a lot of their plants are cheaper at Home Depot or Lowes and they yell and humiliate their employees in front of customers like they should be grateful they even have jobs. No way could I ever recommended The Home & Garden center to anyone.
