I hate to have to say this, but Ozark Eye Center has shown itself, in my experience, to be…read moreunbelievably incompetent and unwilling to accept responsibility for its mistakes. In my case, they made five mistakes in a row, finally refusing to correct them. * One: The ophthalmologist assigned me a non-standard reading-distance in my glasses prescription; it was too far away for me to read comfortably. * Two: An optician specified that the bifocal line be very low, saying she thought I had requested it. I had not. * Three: To correct the reading-distance, the optometrist did a new refraction, but forgot (!) to enter the new diopter specification on the prescription, so I had the same wrong glasses as before. * Four: Another optician undertook to do a loose-lens test to correct the prescription, but lacking something so simple as a tape-measure, she tried to improvise, and mismeasured my requested reading-distance by an inch and a half, too close for me to read easily. * Five: That last pair of lenses came back from the lab with the close-focus insets in two different positions and at different angles. In spite all these errors, they refused me any remedy except another pair of the too-close lenses, despite the fact that the one option between the too-far and too-close prescriptions would have required no further testing. My only mistake was in politely accepting that these people were competent in their jobs.

Beginning in March I started calling every other week checking to see if the order had arrived. Today, June 28, 2022, I pointed out that school starts soon and we very much need this pair of glasses. I was told there was no order and that we'd have to come back in and be resized as well as select new frames. Are you kidding me? There was no apology and no offer to make good. When I asked for the prescription be sent to me, the lady elevated the tone of her voice. Bad, bad customer service for such a stellar doctor. It's not worth the problems when we can drive a little and save money with guaranteed delivery of our needs.

Dr. Kilgore is not only insanely knowledgeable (hello, eye genius!), but somehow made getting my eyes dilated a light hearted and fun experience . The staff was so sweet and at one point we all got the giggles and I realized I was actually having a great time! Like... how is that even possible?? Then I picked out THE cutest pair of glasses (def giving Audrey Hepburn) and was in and out before I knew it. Looking for an eye doctor you don't dread going to? Kilgore is 10 outta 10, no notes! ‍

Hello everyone! I live in Harrison AR. I have my own experience with Kilgore vision center. I got…read moremy glasses and am very satisfied. Everyone were always very nice and caring. Even though I had to go back a couple of times to make some adjustments, they were always friendly and tried their best to make me happy. That's just my story, but I want to share about my mom's experience as well. I invited her from Armenia to see how our doctors can help her. She had severe complications after cataract surgery and couldn't see hardly anything with one of her eyes. She went to multiple doctors back home, but they couldn't help her. Our great doctor Alex Kilgore surgically recovered her vision on both eyes. Another great doctor Steven Rae prescribed her glasses for double vision which was the culmination of the story! My mom couldn't believe her own eyes! It is wonderful! Thank you, Kilgore Vision Center! Absolutely recommend it to everyone.
