It was glued in with some flimsy wood for support. When we contacted Trussels about getting this fixed they said they only guarantee their workmanship for 1 year so they would charge us $450. Basically, they have shoddy workmanship and then demand an exorbitant price to fix it.

I talked with Ricardo, the owner of the company to get an estimate of the cost of the work and a projected date for the work. I also spoke with Ms. Teresa Martinez, the Business Manager of the company, to arrange a date for the project. In less than a week the granite technicians, Juan and Mario came to our house to do the work. After completing measurements and using plastic sheeting to fully enclose the area where the work was done, the granite specialists cut the countertop and polished the surface of the cut. Then they fully cleaned the work area. Juan and Marion were highly competent and did their work in a very proficient manner. In addition, they were very pleasant. The Business Manager, Ms. Martinez was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. She maintained contact with me before and after the granite cutting project. In doing business with various companies, it is very rare to encounter a person as proficient and caring as Ms. Martinez. Angel patiently showed me many samples, covered the pricing in detail, answered all my question regarding the difference in quality of the various products, came to my house several times to see how the installation was going and if there was anything I needed. Irving and Juan were so meticulous in all aspects of the job. I had tile and carpet, part of which was over my partial basement that added a couple of complications where one part of my addition wasn't even with the original house. Richard came out and they worked out a plan to transition the two levels. It came out perfectly. I kept my original baseboards. Irving and Juan removed them without damage, numbered each one and reinstalled them. They were wonderful I can't say enough good things about them. In the middle of the installation, I came down with covid. After a week, they were right back on the job. I was afraid they would have another job in the works and was grateful to see them ready to finish. All and all, they were just about like family by the time the job was complete. I told them I would miss them!! I had a dark tile I loved and carpet in bedrooms. The lighter flooring has brightened my house. I don't miss the tile or the carpet and will never have either again. Great selection and patience with our considerations (in fact, Ryan came out for a site visit and pushed us to take home additional samples and really take our time considering what was going to be a longterm purchase) and the pricing was reasonable - maybe lower than expected for the level of service delivered.
