My first meeting was with Mr. Siegel. He was very patient and I hope he realized that he had bunch of novices in his office. There were several "deer in the headlights" moments. We discussed what we wanted and after several drawings, settled on the ideal house. We are now 7 months into construction. He has been incredibly helpful and patient with all of the steps. He suggested a contractor who is very talented and we are actually ahead of schedule. Jonathan has made many suggestions and provided options that made our house unique. I can't believe how fortunate I was to meet with him first as I did not need to meet with the other architects. I could tell that he understood what we wanted and we are close to finishing a dream project. I can't recommend him more highly.

Garrett Smith, AIA, the architect, General Contractor and foreman of our new home oversaw the…read moreinstallation of a new engineered wood floor. One of the floor boards from the start has a dimple protruding from the substrate later showing through the pattern and wear layer. It has been acknowledged as a defect by the builder attempting to repair by sanding and covering with a non-matching coat of poly. The defective board is in a high traffic area and the builder refuses to replace the board, which is what is recommended by two contractors familiar with this flooring work. This is the most egregious one of several other issues which cannot get settled after 15 months of conversations. Buyer beware do your homework!
