Ok, I'm editing my original review for these guys from 1 star to 5. I normally don't do that so I promise I will explain why so this will be a bit of a long review. We were sort of at a loss for what to do since not many places seem to do this type of work so we gave them a second chance. Not only did the owner show up on time for the quote, he was extraordinarily helpful and gave us some good tips on other surfaces and how to maintain. Extremely knowledgeable, very nice guy. They were very accommodating with scheduling and the day of they were on time and ready to roll. We initially called them to restore and reseal our stone tile that was in horrible shape from not being cleaned or maintained properly from the previous owner. We tried everything we could and just couldn't get it clean. After the visit and asking some questions, we ended up with the trifecta of things we didn't even know he did. Not because he was pushy by any means, he actually told us how to do it ourselves but we asked if he did work like that because it would take us FOREVER and would be one of those weekend projects we would procrastinate (not to mention the cost of materials we'd have to get and only use a tiny amount of). What we ended up with was deep cleaning and resealing of the stone (travertine) tile, polishing and resealing of our granite countertops, and carpet cleaning of the high traffic areas. Yup. They do all that. And his prices were extremely reasonable. The guys were great- extremely professional and friendly. The tools they use are pretty cool as well and they explained what each of them was doing. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend them. So, a couple of tips: - Follow up with them if you don't get an immediate response. There were a couple of things that were forgotten but quickly remedied. I think they're just busy and a family-run business so some communication details get lost in the shuffle. (hey, remember that quote you said you were going to send by email?...) - We thought it was going to take at least half a day but we moved everything we could off the surfaces which seemed to cut the time in half, if not more. I think they normally do move a lot of things for folks because they seemed surprised. lol We also vacuumed everything right before they came over. - If you have granite or quartz countertops and have never resealed/polished them- do it. I don't think ours had ever been done and they are as smooth as glass now (more so than they were). - Ask them questions! They're a wealth of knowledge and will give you all sorts of good info for maintaining the surfaces and how to take care of them. - When they do the first pass with the cleaner on your tile, brick, or whatever you will feel like a dirty little hamster. I promise you. It was so nasty but have solace in the fact that they've probably seen worse. LOL read more

The travertine stairs in our home had been damaged by the previous owners. Apparently someone had tried to clean them but instead etched the surface, leaving black marks where dirt had settled. Several companies came out and just scratched their heads, not knowing what to do. Jerry and his son from New Again knew exactly what had happened and how to restore them. It took a few weeks before they could get back out because they are in such demand. They even had to order a special sanding pad for my job but were very fair in their price, considering the extent of the work they did. The stairs look great now! I'm attaching photos because seeing is believing. New Again is fair, honest, and knowledgeable. My only criticism is that that his email quote directed me to a website that charged me the full amount before the work was done. However, I will be calling them in the future when I need other surfaces restored. read more

Nice people and they do good work. They made a lot of promises they didn't keep and needed to be reminded repeatedly. I think they have other interests that this business takes a back seat to. Hopefully they sell the business to someone who wants to be in it. read more

We put down a REFUNDABLE deposit for a big project, and ended up not needing their services after all. It's been over 50 days since we've been asking for our refund and they refuse to return our money. Owner has promised several times that refund "is on its way", or "will be delivered this week" (weeks ago). But nothing. read more

Gerri and his crew are fabulous. They have mastered the art of restoring brick floors. I recently moved into a house with an old brick floor in the kitchen that was really filthy and no matter how much I scrubbed it I could not get it clean. these people preformed some bathroom and counter restoration and promised repeatedly to return to finish the front room and one bathroom needs a touch up ... after repeated calls and text messages and over the phone promises... nothing do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your tile restoration read more

SO glad I found "New Again" at the Home Expo and contacted Jerry about cleaning & restoring our Saltillo tile floors. He and his sons did a superb job on the Saltillo and travertine (about 1800 square feet total) and were prompt, fast, friendly, professional, and careful. This father and son team is absolutely wonderful! They came out to my home and gave me a free estimate. Their pricing is very fair and competitive, so I scheduled to have them come out the next day to clean my tile and seal my grout. They were timely, friendly, informative, and quick to do the job. This family owned business is great at what they do. They came to my home in Placitas to do a free estimate. They are friendly and professional. I hired them to do the job and it took them less time than expected. They really worked with my schedule, even though I had to reschedule several times. I highly recommend this company for cleaning and sealing the tile, even in the shower. read more
