This was my daughters second time to the dentist (7 years old) post COVID and the first visit with another provider wasn't that great so she was scared going in and had a lot of questions! I was also able to join her in the back while she had her appointment. Ms. Melissa, the Dental Hygienist made her feel so comfortable and even complimented her and encouraged her through out the entire x-ray process, sensing that she was a bit uneasy. There were no tears and lots of smiles once she was done. After the routine X-rays we went to the cleaning room to do her routine cleaning and we got to meet Dr. Natasha Gates. She was so pleasant and let us know what was working and what we could improve on with her oral health also making sure my daughter understood her responsibility to her brushing and keeping a great smile. The whole process was a breeze and I definitely look forward to bringing my other little one here next (3 years old). X-rays, exams, and consultation. 2nd appointment is the cleaning. The exam was very thorough whereas mentioned X-rays were performed. She recommended removing the wisdom tooth. I have not had any issues with it but it was recommended. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. They explained the process of the first and second visits. I was there maybe 20 min before I was called back. The exam area was clean. The equipment looked fairly new Dr. Carey came in about 15 min after X-rays. She reviewed the results went over what she saw and recommended. They put me on the schedule for a cleaning next month. Tebo made us pay everything up front and only refunded the insurance portion 5 months after the procedure. Not cool considering the amount they asked us to pay in advanced was $3000. At JKD, my daughter had 3 fillings and an extraction that needed to be done. They didn't force sedation on us, but she did use nitrous oxide and my daughter was not traumatized, unlike my son, who was quite scared of the dentist after his procedure at Tebo. My kids want to go back to the dentist now. So glad I found this practice!!
