Please beware of shopping at this company. This company is a literal scam with how much they charge you for how poor their installation is. We contracted work with stone source back in January, and their incredibly poor installation work resulted in thousands of dollars of damage to our kitchen. They damaged almost every single surface on our kitchen cabinets, they damaged walls in our kitchen, caused a ground fault by doing unlicensed electrical work which caused us to lose power in our entire home in the middle of winter, they also ruined their own countertop they'd installed the week before by dumping silicone all over it, and then using a sealant that ruined the integrity of the counter, and worst of all they have taken absolutely zero accountability for it. Jason and Sarah are nice and helpful in the moment they're trying to make money off you, but trust that they along with their owner do not have your back, and do not stand behind their work. There are much more affordable options elsewhere for stone that is just as good, and I am incredibly regretful that we did not go with another stone company. The worst part is they will say we "signed a contract", and they "abided by their contract" and blah blah blah. Do not trust a word they say.

I am not experienced with tile. The staff here helped me pick tile and a fun layout that I would have never thought of. They even have suggestions for accessories and colors that compliment the tile. I will be back for the next project.

A large rectangular mineral deposit that's not present anywhere else in the granite I purchased.

Stay away!!!!! They installed my kitchen granite in my home and cut the granite in such a way that a large mineral deposit was placed in the middle of the island. It's extremely unsightly and reflective to light. It stands out from over ten feet away and is a complete eyesore. Amy the project manager had horrible communication and had to be called several times to address the issue over the period of a week delaying other contractors. I asked to talk to the owner Lenny and she stated that he refuses to take phone calls when there are problems. They completely refused to address their mistake. When I pointed out that it could have been placed in a different location she kept talking how much more it would have cost to do it differently. I was never even asked the question of what I would have wanted done. I just wanted the job done correctly. A horrible experience overall. Don't trust your project to them. They don't stand behind their work at all.

Stone Source installers tried to tell me this was a natural variation in the stone, and not a repair, until I pointed out glob of resin

I have come to the outlet store multiple times over the years…read more My last project was where I had a shower stall wrap around thingy (plastic) was my shower wall above a tub. In the demo, I found they had stuck one on top of the other. It's a duplex and it was some janky work. I took those two out, put up new sheet rock and put in some Italian tile with some glass tile accents. I also included a "niche" so the shower now has a spot for shampoo, conditioner, etc. My tile cost $69.00. The niche? A formed piece of plastic? $75. This outlet center always has changing stock so what you see, you may not find again but if you have any ounce of creativity, you can create something. If you don't, the lady who has been there forever is so dang helpful! This last purchase was to put in a tile accent over a new stove we bought. Now the prices aren't like they were with that shower install but we still got a great deal for that small area. $30 I think? A great deal with tile that I don't see at your usual box store. Anyway, if you haven't been and have a project coming up, it is definitely worth checking this place out.

Very nice product, a little more pricey than most places though. They "assigned" me a sales person and I went forward with choosing flooring and ordering flooring. Through the whole process it was an extreme challenge to ever get in touch with my "assigned" sales person! Because of a mistake by one of the installers I got a bid from, we ended up ordering too much flooring! (no fault of Prosource) However, when I asked if I could return it, they were quite nasty. My sales person did not return my calls. I eventually went into the store and was told that I would have to pay a restocking fee. I understand that is the policy but it was the way I was treated. I will never, ever do business here again and would never recommend them. When I expressed my concerns about lack of contact to the manager, he told me they were very busy! HMMMMM!!! Too busy for customers I guess! I still have the excess flooring and am still awaiting a call back! (it has been about a month and 3-4 phone calls)

Tile by Design does not disclose either in writing, verbally, or on their website if specific tile is special order/non-refundable. When we placed the order for our tile, we specifically asked if the 10% overage in square footage was returnable. A Tile by Design employee told us that it was in fact returnable. Additionally, none of the paperwork we receive, including the receipt, said that the tile was special order/non-refundable. After receiving the tile, we discovered that it was full of scratches, divots, pin holes, air bubbles, and chipped edges. When attempting to return the tile, they would not accept. They told us the only way we could return the tile was if we paid for a shipping and restocking fee, which resulted in 40% of the overall purchase. We even offered to share the return costs by suggesting 20% each and they refused. Their lack of integrity for both the quality of their product and treatment of their customers is unacceptable. We encourage all consumers to take your business elsewhere.

I use Emser Tile for bulk material purchases as well as in my own home. Today was much different than my usual pleasant and above average encounter with them. They have shown kindness and support to the community in which they inhabit and have surpassed any and all reasonable expectations one should have of their tile supplier. { I stumbled upon an individual who serves his community and offers his home and resources to aid people in maintaining good mental health as well as helping individuals stay free of substance use. This individual does not have a lot of money and does all of this from the kindness of his heart, in other words just to help people. I took it upon myself to replace some broken and/or missing tiles within his kitchen, to remove the potential trip hazard in varying floor heights (he is 90 years old). } I contacted Emser Tile assuming at the very least they would have a suitable product for the replacement. Emser Tile, when hearing of the cause immediately told me to come down to the showroom to see if they had some sample tiles that may be of use, to which they would just give me to help out. Emser Tile personnel went wayyyyy above and beyond to then offer me use of their discontinued tile supply, to be able to redo this person's entire kitchen floor! (which likely hasn't been done in the life of the home) (I will be providing before and after pictures upon installation) Everyone i have spoke to in regards to your generosity has been absolutely ecstatic and very appreciative. Not many businesses show kindness and care for their community, but Emser Tile does and that should known. If you are considering to purchase tile, you should use Emser Tile. If not for the quality of their product's alone, for the insurmountable customer service you receive when you are there. Saying thank you for the level of service i have received seems insufficient, however i hope it will do. Sincerely, Tom @ Adept Stone and Tile

That sent a lot of water into our newly remodeled bathroom, hallway, and laundry room. We had recently been inspired by watching Renovation 911 which is a new renovation show on HGTV based here in MN. It was this inspiration that led us to contact them. Aaron came out right away and accessed our situation. He advised us that the water had gone under the floor into these other rooms and hallway. Aaron was able to remove our sink and floor in the bathroom, pull up some carpet and cut out some drywall. He then set up fans and equipment to start the drying process. I believe her name was Kathy, then came out a few times including on the weekend to check the status of the drying process. Once everything was dried, I advised Aaron that we would like their team to also handle the rebuild. Aaron referred me to Drew who contacted our insurance agent and assigned our file to Mark G. This is where everything went downhill. For the next 30 days, 30 days, I emailed, called and texted Mark. Sometimes he replied, sometimes he didn't. When he did, he would say that he was waiting for something from our insurance. So I would call my insurance agent, he advised me everything had been approved. I would then go back to Mark who said he still was waiting for information. After 30 days of confirming with our insurance and repeated attempts to contact Mark, we figured they had other projects that were more important. I again contacted my insurance agent and requested that the approved amount be sent to me. I then advised Drew and Mark that we would be going in a different direction. We did our own research, and about two weeks later we had the carpet installed, the bathroom floor, sink and vanity installed, and the drywall completed. Clearly it seems that our business was not important to them, however we are very thankful to the companies that cared enough to help us complete our project.
