We recently purchased a house, and the granite countertops needed some work in our kitchen. We contacted a few places to get repair quotes for a few chips, cracks, a wide/warped seam, and we also wanted to get the counter re-sealed. Chris, the owner, was very responsive and friendly. His quote was slightly lower but quite similar to the other companies who responded, and we decided to go with him based on the price, his responsiveness, and the reviews on here (particularly the previous review with the seam repair, as the "before" seam looked exactly like ours!). Scheduling was straightforward and we were able to get our ideal day/time the following week. Two guys arrived on time and they got to work right away to fix all of the issues. They were here for quite awhile, and worked really hard to get everything looking great. The seam is now closed up and is MUCH less obvious. The two stone pieces were also uneven, with one jutting out past the other, and they completely fixed it- you would never know! The cracks and chips are all sealed and barely visible, and we haven't had any issues with the counters since their visit. Chris sent us a link before our visit so that we could pay by credit card at the end of the visit (otherwise we could have paid by cash or check). Overall, two thumbs up and we will definitely be calling them in the future if we have any issues with our counters! read more

Solutions installed a Cambria quartz countertop on my bathroom vanity today . They were subcontracted by Home Depot who dropped the ball on this project. I specifically chose the blue veining in this expensive Travella quartz to go with a restoration project in my guest bathroom to compliment the sky blue retro shower tile and bathtub and sink. The main person I dealt with for weeks at Stone Solutions was Kelly. She assured me that when the slab arrived at their warehouse, she would tape off on the slab where the bowl would go and the adjacent sides and email me the photo because I explained to her that it was important to have the blue veining on both sides of the sink bowl. She knew this was very important to me. The installers were scheduled to come today and radio silence from Kelly yesterday when I asked for the photo, and she ignored my repeated calls this morning. When I saw there was no blue veining on the left side of the countertop I was very unhappy. I called the manager, Chris, who tried to justify that it was just the design of this particular quartz. I'm not a novice when it comes to quartz counter tops. I know if they cared they could have made this right. I was appalled by the horrible customer service. Kelly, a cold fish, knew this was important to me and she just didn't care. Chris also didn't care. He wouldn't even place the sink onto the countertop. I do not recommend this uncaring company and I am certainly going to complain to Home Depot. By the way HD also didn't return my calls today and they are doing an upcoming major renovation in my kitchen. Stay tuned for that review. The hallmark of a great company is customer service. They came out to fix our warped granite seam in our kitchen. Was able to schedule the repair the next day! The work they did looks great and they were very professional and pleasant to work with. Had a hard time even finding someone to come out for such a small repair but they didn't even hesitate. Highly recommend! read more

We just had our granite kitchen countertops done and Stone Solutions did an amazing job! I called on a Monday and by Tuesday they were at our home with samples and measured. I needed my granite backsplash cut a couple of inches to install a microwave. Every stone shop and fabricator in Maryland told me it couldn't be done, until I found Stone Solutions.
