The Connoisseur

We went on a Friday night, and we were able to be seated right away. It was very cozy and overall a really great experience. We ordered the connoisseur charcuterie board, and it was delicious! We had to wait a while for the food, but honestly the ambience and food were great, so it was worth the wait. And our hostess/waitress was super nice!

Had a great time with my significant other and the owners and staff as well as the other patrons will definitely return and recommend

We have been coming to eureka springs for years and unfortunately just found this treasure. Easily the best wine bar we have ever experienced. Our waiter was so friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a fantastic selection of wine choices to pair with the cheeses we selected. Later two other members of the staff came by to check on us. Both were owners. The restaurant was stunning inside with the rock walls and cherry wood. As the best testament to the Stone House, we are going back again tonight.

We split this, and it was a perfect lite dinner with a glass (or 2) of wine

We never go to Eureka without stoping at the Stone house. My only complaint is this isn't exactly restaurant. They serve amazing beautiful appetizer trays and have a very we'll rounded wine list. Don't go when your starving or have the kids with you. This place looks like it could be a little pretensions, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. The staff is gracious and pleasant and cater to the seasoned wine buff and novice alike.

I absolutely love Stone House! We've been several times in our travels to Eureka Springs and stopped by on a recent visit. Their wine selection is fantastic and very reasonably priced. The cheese and charcuterie plate for $49 was plenty for our table of 4... lots of great selections on it. The atmosphere in this place can't be beat! Nice and dark with a perfect blend of candle light to set the mood. Great music and very unique artwork make this the perfect stop in my book for some wine and conversation!

Our best meal in Eureka Springs…read more Not a ton of tables inside. Interesting ambiance with the rock bluff, which we were seated right next to. Had great service from Rhodes who was gracious and knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great suggestions. The Upside Down cocktail was delicious. A bit sweet for a whiskey drink, but very good. The salmon and steak were perfectly cooked. The asparagus and mushroom sides scrumptious. We split a slice of vanilla caramel cake which was divine. A perfect meal.

We showed up about 45 minutes early for our 8:30 reservation and did a quick walk through. Instead of waiting around, we wandered upstairs to The Stone House Tavern (right next door) for a drink, and here's the move: they serve the full Grotto menu. Same kitchen, totally different vibe. We grabbed a table and never left. The tavern has a cozy, dim-lit feel with a massive wall of books that immediately stands out. It's quiet, relaxed, and easy to actually enjoy a conversation no shouting over noise, no rushing through dinner. Service was great. Our server was kind, attentive, and we had a few genuine, easy conversations with her that made the whole experience feel even more relaxed. We started with the quail poppers and the baby romaine both solid, but more of a warm-up than the main event. The bone-in pork chop is the star. It's massive, cooked right, and easily shareable if you add a couple of sides. Don't skip the acorn squash it was one of the best things on the table. We also tried the full wings with three sauces, and those were just as good flavorful, not overdone, and a great balance to the heavier entrée. Overall, this place delivers on food, atmosphere, and experience. Bonus points for the upstairs "secret." We'd absolutely come back and probably go straight to the tavern again.

Enjoyed an excellent dinner at Local Flavor in mid May on a Wednesday evening. We had a…read morereservation, but it may not have been necessary as not all tables were filled. We were early for the season. We had excellent service from Kristen who was very friendly, informative, and attentive. I had the chicken topped with all of topping, odd goat cheese, and balsamic drizzle. It was fabulous. Also liked the mashed potatoes. My husband enjoyed the creamy Gorgonzola pasta dish with caramelized onions and cherry tomatoes. There were several good looking desserts, but we were too full to try any. Ambience fairly simple but a row of cute lamps lining the shelf up above. There's a small restaurant area as well as a bar area. Some tables outside, but it was too cool for us to try that. Great place in Eureka Springs.

The food matches the setting. The crab cakes are better than most places--crispy on the outside, packed with flavor, and not overly heavy. The cobb salad is a standout too--loaded with a great mix of toppings (definitely check the pic), fresh, and actually filling. The meatball & grits were solid, and the wedge fries on the side hit the spot--simple but done right. This is an easy, go-to lunch spot whether you're taking a break from exploring downtown or wrapping up a day walking around. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and a perfect place to slow things down for a bit.
