So I took my family's Honda Odyssey to Davis Tire for repairs and it was the worst experience I've…read moreever had at vehicle maintenance shop 1/29 I took it to Davis Tire Rincon after oil light and check engine light came on the previous day. a. They stated solenoid, steering fluid leak, rear struts, and shocks had to be done over the phone. I agreed to solenoid and steering fluid repairs over the phone since the other two could wait. I never saw the estimate and just approved over the phone for the repair while I was at work. b. We took the van to them Sunday the 1st and they "completed the repair" the 3rd and when the wife got it to turn it on it started rumbling and check engine light was blinking again immediately. c. This is the initial $3000 repair. 2/3-2/5 This time they said the rockers arms had to be adjusted to stop a bank of misfires so it had to stay another day to get repaired and we went back to pick it up on the 5th. The technician said he adjusted the rocker arms and everything was okay. So we took the van home after assurances that everything was good to go. Made it home okay (sounding a little off) and looked over the engine. Then check engine light came on again. 2/5 I took it the Springfield Davis Tire and they said they had to do a throttle adjustment this time. We were not charged additional for this. We didn't travel much between this time and the 9th as the family was sick with the flu and we noticed Sunday the 8th there was still oil leaking. 2/9-2/12 So we took it back to Davis Springfield on Monday. They said it was the steering fluid leak and I told them I thought it was fixed before. That's when I found out that I never "paid" for that particular repair. So we paid an additional $650 plus to get that repair done. We picked up the vehicle either the 11th or 12th. 2/16 The wife is on the way to home school event and before she leaves the neighborhood the check engine light was coming on again and the vehicle was rumbling. So we brought it back to Springfield Davis Tire. After over 2 hours of waiting and a suspicious 10 minute meeting between some of the staff, they now claim the timing belt is off and are recommending another $2000 repair. 2/17-3/2 We worked with a different local shop that gave us the same repair at $1200 and that shop discovered that Rincon Davis Tire had messed up the following: loose B1 cam sensor, leaking front valve cover, and leaking solenoid. The other shop also discovered the oil drain plug was leaking. We gave this information to Springfield Davis Tire 3/2 afternoon. 3/2-3/12 Springfield Davis Tire did not give any updates and were cagey with their responses still the two times I called them and finally on Friday the 6th I called them 3 minutes before they closed and finally got an update that they were going to take a look at the van on Monday the 9th. On Tuesday I got a call that they confirmed the solenoid was indeed leaking and they had to order the part. The part came in on Weds afternoon the 11th that afternoon after I called for another update but it would not be ready till Thurs. The wife picks it up that afternoon because I was at work and they did not offer any kind of apology, discount, or information to her on pickup. No call from any Davis tire leadership for all the trouble. For anyone kind of repairs done I would recommend not going to either of these Davis Tire locations.

Our automobiles feel much smoother when driving, we feel more comfortable as our glide ride supports us, and keeps us, and everyone around us safe. Our new tires, last much longer, if we exercise the efficiency side of our brains, and get an alignment every 6000 miles. We get to feel good about doing the right thing helping to extend the life of our automobiles especially in our area when the distances may be short, or long depending upon our wants or needs. We don't have to fret about the weather because "we got our shit together!" Yea, one for the good guys. But where to go to get this marvelous feeling? All Pro Tire Pros (The shop that is so professional, they had to list it twice in their name, lol. There has got to be a reason, but why, I have no idea, so ask as you'll have about 45 minutes waiting for you alignment to be done), were they provided you excellent work at a reasonable price. Justin did a great job as I watched him work the phone, calling customers back with a happy and pheasant demeanor letting one know, they can get the part they needed, another, after first calling the mechanic he was going to recommend to them to confirm he wanted the job, that while All Pro Tire Pros could not help them, Justin could recommended a mechanic and a solution, that would handle the problem for them, and finally, sadly another customer that they could not help but recommended the "dreaded" dealer (not mine of course, I'm ok, lol) as their only option. I got to experience GREAT customer service, live and in color! Yea, it's always the little things that mean so much to many of us. You want service? Instead of dealing with a call center in India, or the Philippines where an English speaking name is used to mask their identity so they can tell you "no", over and over again. Yea, it's like that! Then take your ride to All Pro Tire Pros in Bluffton for tires, an alignment, or just about any other mechanical issue your transportation poses because then can feel the satisfaction, and enjoyment of feeling like a valued customer. Original estimate was $450. Final estimate turned into $3400. It turned out I had a broken rear leaf spring. It took 2 months to get my car back. If you want a garage that rarely answers the phone or does not return phone calls, even before I ever brought my car in, than this would be the place to take your car. Grant it that it took 3 weeks for my part to get in, but they had no reason to work on my car for 5 weeks. I was berated by the owner for calling all the time and told, "it's not going to get the car fixed any quicker by constantly calling us. It turns out they only use cell phones to track your phone calls coming in and just ignore customers that have their cars in the shop. When I took my corvette into the show, they located a transmission oil leak in one of the lines close to the transmission intercooler. But the leak is so slow that it doesn't even drip from the car at all. So I will not worry about it until it actually starts to show some leakage on the garage floor. So I will not waste money on fixing this $800 repair. They also sent me an email to replace the front spring after they already took it apart and never fixed it. And they did not raise the front end enough and neither did they make it level like I asked for it. So they want me to fix things that don't need to be fixed, and they took 2 months to do a half ass job on what I already asked to be fixed. Never again will I take my car to those idiots I did not even respond to their email, they are not worth my time to even do that
