These giys are incompetent. Brought my car in for DRIVERS side tire repair due to visible metal object causing a leak. When I Brought it back 2 weeks later after it was still leaking they showed me that they actually repaired the passenger side tire and the drivers side was not repairable because of tread seperation. This tread seperation issue was not stated in the original repair report. Needless to say, this place won't be selling me any replacement tires. read more

This store is a joke. Ordered 4 Goodyear Assurance tires from warehouse yesterday. They committed to installing today late afternoon as I am delivering car to grandson in ohio tomorrow. Tires came into store yesterday and did not receive promised phone call. Called this morning to see if tires were in and they were. Was told they could not be put on today. I hung up with no resolution. Called back to verify that I could buy just the tires and get them installed elsewhere. Was told i could. They called me back and said that if I buy just the tires I would have to pay with cash. Another Goodyear location verified with me that this is not Goodyear policy and that I should contact Goodyear corporate. Buyer beware using this store. I had outstanding customer service at the Okatie Goodyear when I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The technician did an overall inspection and I was told I needed rear brakes(I had never had them replaced). I took my car back a week later to have the job done. Again, the customer service was excellent from the technicians, front desk folks, and the store manager. I will continue to take my car to this Goodyear for all my service needs. Took my vehicle in at 1 when they scheduled me to get new tires. Two hours later and they still weren't done. They explained to me because I have low profile tires and after market rims it takes longer. They also mentioned they didn't know why someone scheduled me at 1 when they take lunch till 1:30. Super unsatisfied and wouldn't recommend going here unless you have ample time to kill. read more

How could I not give them a 5 star review. Driving through Sea Pines, I must have picked up a nail or something in my tire due to the construction and detours. When I got to Burkes Beach, my low tire pressure light went on. Fortunately I keep an portable air compressor in my trunk and was able to fill my tire enough to get home. I called all of the local tire places who all said they were too busy or couldn't guarantee I could get my tire repaired for at least 2-3 days. That's wasn't acceptable. I called Goodyear and they told me I could drop it off anytime and it would be ready ASAP. I dropped off the car and was called within 2 hours to let me know---not only was the car ready, but the repair was free of charge!! I love you guys. Your earned my business forever. I assumed the price would be cheaper going direct to Goodyear. I was the dope for not pricing first and Goodyear took advantage. My initial experience with this location was a bit rough. Came in for a tire that was leaking air, not sure if it needed replaced or patched. Made an appointment online two days prior for 10am, when I arrived there were 3 employees behind the desk, but apparently only one employee working on cars. Even though I was the only one there, they informed me they had another appointment for the same time (but not even there yet) and wanted to wait on him before they started ours because he made his appointment first. They apologized for not letting us know prior and asked us to wait. We waited until 10:12, and then they proceeded to start the work. The staff, was fairly rough all around, not friendly in either tone or dialogue. I was not even informed of any progress, until the job was complete. All in all, they fixed the flat for just over $20, so job was done, but this was overall a frustrating and unusual experience. read more

I've been a customer at this specific location since 2009 but not anymore. Purchased tires there less than a year and a half ago, went in today to have a nail removed. I was told the tire was irreparable and I also needed 3 new tires. How can that be when all service has been done there?! All oil changes, tire rotations, etc. have been done at this location. Then I was told it was my fault and it was from under inflated tires. I never miss an oil change and rotate my tires every other time, as they recommend. The "master technician" challenged me to find any other repair shop that would repair it because it can't be repaired...well left there and took my car up to Beaufort and had Tuffys repair it. Great customer service at Tuffys and they said all my tires look brand new and have years left on them. I have over the years dealt with Mary countless times. I have trusted her and all of their recommendations but now I know better. I will never return to GoodYear and I specifically will never recommend this shop again. read more

Mary and her service people went above and beyond to fix my tire situation on my Tundra. I had a problem with my defective Michelins as Michelin offered 49% of the replacement. Needless to say they will never get my business again, along with NTB of Bluffton. Two times in a row they made me cancel my appointment. First time was on Saturday and they were slammed, fine I understand. Then I rescheduled again for a Tuesday evening he again said they could not accommodate me once I drove all the way to Goodyear. Then he states, " oh it was a drop off and you never showed." Then I why didn't I get a call this morning? Such poor customer service. My email did not say drop off it shows 6 pm oil change appointment. It's ridiculous what is the point of an appointment if you do not allow oil changes after a certain time. They shouldn't allow you to make appointments after 5 if they won't do an oil change for you after 5. So frustrating. Will never return. read more

It ended up being much quicker, the facility was clean and well kept the staff that I interacted with was professional and kind. WHAT AND AWFUL EXPERIENCE I tried to schedule an appointment a few days earlier online and had to call on my lunch break and got an appointment today to have all four of my tires taken care of which is very expensive. I walked in today on my lunch break with a prescheduled appointment for 1pm which I had to wait for some guy to walk into the front from the back. I explained I had an appointment and was questioning the price difference online vs. in store because its $40 more. He told me well that's the online price for which I said okay how do we do that? (mind you I have the tire and price printed out on paper in hand) He told me I had to book it online....there was know body else in the store what so ever....Cant you just waive the fee seeing as how I'm here? Nope...So I went off to the side to take care of it and when I was finished I returned to the desk and stated that I submitted it and the man responded with well it usually takes about 10-15min for it to come in. So I sat down and waited and in the time we sat there waiting my boyfriend found out that firestone can do it now finish in less time and is cheaper with better tires down the street. what a waste of time my whole lunch time actually just being there... GO TO FIRESTONE INSTEAD THEY ACTUALLY CARE!!! btw this is the address 169 Okatie Center Blvd N, Bluffton, SC 29909 I would recommend Firestone 1000 times more than this crap of a store and their rude customer service that clearly they didn't want my business after I walked out and said you know what don't worry about it we will go somewhere else. Terrible service. We brought our car in at the end of the day earlier this week and returned a day later to find a black smudge / stain on the drivers seat. (Note that this mark was not there when we brought it in.) My wife asked if they would be able to clean it and 2 hours later was ushered to her car with a garage towel over the attempted clean up due to "it still being a little wet". Needless to say the mark was not gone and the material on the seat now looked beat up and pilly, still with black smudge in the seams of the seat. After not taking the car with us do to the condition we were told that we could wait 2 days for the manager to arrive to discuss the matter. Manager lets us know that Goodyear is willing to have the seat professionally cleaned and we would be able to submit to corporate for reimbursement on the cleaned seat. Clean or not the condition of the material will remain damaged. The manager failed to address this issue and told us that they would be unwilling to pay for the quote we received from the local Ford dealership for the exact part in question. Unfortunately we still don't have our car and are left with a damaged seat, having to pay for the work originally completed and dealing with damage done to the vehicle while under the shop's care. read more

1 year ago I spent $600 at this store for tires and alignment. I am very close to the store and so thought it would be convenient when I needed rotations,etc. I returned for oil change and tire rotation 6 months later. Upon completion I asked "were the tires rotated?", and they assured me they were. However when I checked them they were not, as I had previously marked them. They were in the same place! Upon my complaint they then rotated them. So 2 weeks ago I take my car back for oil change and tire rotation. I leave the car. 1 1/2 hour later I get a call it's done. I go to the store and can see my hood is still up in the bay. The woman in front tells a worker to go back and bring the car up. He says they are still working on it but she says it's done. 15 minutes later she brings the car out. I ask "did they rotate the tires?" To which she says yes. So I drive home and the tires are not rotated again! I call her and she says they were rotated, 2 of the guys had torqued the wheels. I told her the tires were marked and they were not rotated. She argued with me, insisted the tires were rotated and hung up. About half hour later I was called and told " the service tech forgot to rotate the tires " and if I bring the car back they would rotate the tires. No wonder tires wear out so soon! read more

I made an appointment for an oil change and a FREE computer read-out of my F150 engine. The girl on the phone was pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. She understood everything we discussed. The day of the appointment, I explained to the the gentleman (Paul?) on the desk what I wanted and he questioned why I wanted the computer check. Was my check engine light on? I said "no", but it had come on (and stayed on) for about 2 weeks and then mysteriously went off. He told me all I would get is a code read out but no diagnostics. Yes, that is what I want. I started to explain other things had been happening (blinker light flashing rapidly but today it was back to normal) but was cut off mid-sentence to say "those things have nothing to do with the engine". I know that, I just wanted him to understand the check engine light NOT being on now may still show up on the FREE computer read out.....just as the blinker. As a woman, I hate to take my vehicle to [most] repair shops and be treated like a dumb blonde. After 30 mins or so, he came into the waiting room and said he had something at the desk to show me. It was the air filter. He said I needed a new one. I took a look at the filter and there was some black soot but not very much. I turned it over and it was like new....absolutely no dirt/soot. He was almost insistent that I needed a new one and was a bit put off when I said I would wait until I got back north to my dealership. He rang up my bill and as I swiped my card I noticed the bill was for $101. An oil change for $101??? He said I was charged for the computer check. No, no, no. We already went over this...I asked for the FREE service. He called the young lady who had made the appointment to come to the desk. She affirmed it is indeed FREE and to take it off my bill. She should be manning the front desk! She knows how to conduct business while giving great customer service. She is wasting her talents at this Goodyear store. PS A young man sitting with me in the waiting room was told he also needed a new air filter....hmmmmm. read more
