Saw on website to drop off by 9am for same day service... didn't need same day service, so I went in around 9:45 on Friday. The woman says the soonest they could have it ready is Monday. I let her know we're from out of town & have a holiday party tomorrow, is there any chance they could manage to get it done by then? She rudely says, "No, it's too late for today and we haven't cleaned on Saturdays in over two years." I literally *just* said we're from out of town - how am I supposed to know that? I double checked after I left, and I still don't see that information anywhere on their website... that being said, their website is a mess, so I suppose that information could be buried somewhere & I just missed it. Anyway, no idea if they are any good, but the woman was super rude, so we definitely won't go back to Burlington Cleaners in the future!

She was charged $185. FOR JUST A HEM. When confronted about the price, she was laughed at. She was told the dress was "wide at the bottom"...it is a dress afterall so it should be wider at the bottom. When she showed receipts from what the other bridesmaids paid, the response was "oh they must not have gone a good job". When she mentioned what other places locally were charging, the response was "well we do a good job" None of this explains why they are charging QUADRUPLE what other places charge and what others have paid at different locations. Do not take your business here. It is complete robbery. Taking advantage of people is nothing to laugh at, especially in this economy. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I couldn't wear my $200 dress because of the BLACK stains they left on my maroon dress. I called to complain and demanded a refund because the owner hung up on me 3 times in the middle of me talking. She was blaming me and taking zero accountability. She was not professional and extremely rude for disconnecting the phone since she didn't wanna hear they ruined my dress. We brought in my daughter's dinner dance dress for alterations and the experience was incredibly…read moredisappointing. The dress was returned unfinished and uneven at the bottom, despite us paying for the work to be completed properly. We were also told the dress would be ready, only to have last-minute issues come up and multiple trips wasted trying to get this resolved. To make matters worse, the contact information on the receipt was incorrect, making communication even harder. When we tried to calmly work out a solution due to our work schedules and the inconvenience already caused, the response we received was unprofessional and dismissive instead of customer-focused. At the end of the day, this was a $300 dress for an important event for our daughter, and we expected much better quality, communication, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience caused unnecessary stress right before her dinner dance. I would not recommend based on our experience.
