A few years ago, I contacted this company about a roof leak that was allowing water into my back…read morebedroom. It took over a year for the MJS team to identify and address the source of the leak. During that time, multiple crews came to my home and removed drywall and insulation from the walls and ceiling while trying to locate the source. During this process, my bedroom sustained significant interior damage, including damage to the wood floors and electrical. The room became difficult to use, with missing drywall, exposed areas of the roof structure, and continued water intrusion. At one point, drywall was replaced without the insulation that had previously been removed. A couple of years later, the roof began leaking again in the same location. I contacted the MJS team because I understood the previous work to be covered by a warranty. Over the next two months, I had difficulty getting a response. Messages sometimes went unanswered for more than a week, appointments were not confirmed, and I often had to follow up for basic information. I was eventually given another contact number and told someone would come out to inspect the issue. Over the following three weeks, I was given several dates when someone would come by. Each time, no one arrived, and I had to follow up again. At this point, my concern is not simply scheduling. I have a recurring roof leak in the same location following a previous repair that took over a year to resolve and involved significant damage inside my home. I have spent months trying to get the issue addressed and obtain a clear response about the next steps. If you are considering this company, I recommend getting the scope of work, warranty terms, timelines, and follow-up procedures clearly documented in writing before proceeding.

US Better Homes Review…read more My wife and I decided to get a screened porch built for our Baltimore rowhouse home to protect us from the heat and bugs during the summer months. It was a little tough finding a solid contractor that was in our budget. We finally narrowed it down to US Better Homes after having four contractors come out and estimate the job for an enormous amount of money. The owner Samvel scheduled an appointment for an estimate and immediately we explained to him the problems we were facing with other contractors, and we gave him our budget. After that initial interaction with him, we decided to move forward with the project. The project took a little more time than expected, but that was expected due to the company being a small business plus the rainy weather conditions were also a major factor in the time frame. We were patient with the company and the project schedule changes because Samvel the owner was very accommodating, throughout the entire process and receptive to our ideas and changes before and during the project. He and his team were very professional, responsive, and friendly with any questions we had during the project. Once the project was done it turned out more than we expected. We are very happy and satisfied with our new screen porch. We absolutely love our new space where we can entertain outside. Thank you, Samvel and his team! We will most definitely be using his services in the future for any projects going forward.

Our ceiling on the first floor had severe water damage from a leaky shower upstairs. They sealed our shower and replaced the damaged drywall. The ceiling looks better than it did when we bought the house lol! They even used some scrap pieces to patch up a mouse hole in our kitchen. Going the extra mile is always appreciated! You just can't beat their prices! As a young couple, we have been ripped off by other guys who know we don't have much life experience to know how much things cost. Thank you guys for the honesty!!!! Communication was spotty at times, but it probably was the fact that they were communicating with me on this app but had my husband's phone number. Things just got lost in the shuffle. Thankfully, we didn't have plans so I was home all weekend for when they did come by.
