Quite a few places to choose from in the area, but this place is super friendly and lovely! The food is tasty and reasonably priced. There are plenty of choices available: pizza, pasta, lots of proteins (beef, pork, prawns, chicken). On our table, we had: creamy prawn pasta (tasty!), main size of garlic prawns with grilled toast (loads of prawns! A little on the tart side), pork belly (crispy skin ftw), and steak (pepper sauce was pretty damned tasty). Staff are welcoming and very accommodating. We were offered a little cup of mulled wine on arrival - definite hit the spot!! After our meal, we were given marshmallows to toast on the fire outside (in an old bath tub!). Fun!! Best part: if you are staying in the area, and are having dinner there - you can ask to be picked up and dropped off in the Flour and Water stretch limo! We didn't know about that - will definitely make use of that next time! All in all - the food is good, but what makes this place pretty special is the staff. The friendly banter is what will put a smile on your face :)

Yum it was all cooked perfectly the eggs were like molten gold with the yoke pouring out when cut into. The rosti were nice and crispy with out being too fatty. As side serve of chorizo and some kale to green it up was a nice addition. Yum. Please can I go back there. Don't hesitate if your in bright. The lunch and dinner menu also looks good and if it's anything like breakfast then it will be with it.

She wisely chose a piece of the egg and bacon pie to try. The pie was stupendously good. Easily the best egg and bacon pie I've ever had. Full of flavour and full of egg and bacon in their fullest state. I wish I could take some back to Melbourne. The coffee was lovely too. Service here was very pleasant. Nice cafe indeed.

I didn't get to try their spag Bolognese as son no.1 ate it all. Tiramisu very elaborate and good. Home made pistachio cardamom ice cream fantastic. It could be the fact that we've had nothing but burgers and deep fried everything on this trip, but this resto was outstanding so go there.
