My only gripe was that we were sitting at a side bench instead of a nice big table. The food was amazing. Eggs Benedict on potato rosti. Yum it was all cooked perfectly the eggs were like molten gold with the yoke pouring out when cut into. The rosti were nice and crispy with out being too fatty. As side serve of chorizo and some kale to green it up was a nice addition. Yum. Please can I go back there. Don't hesitate if your in bright. The lunch and dinner menu also looks good and if it's anything like breakfast then it will be with it.

This might be controversial but the establishment has a slightly bogan air to it. It's an accurate observation much as I love my fellow man and a bit of lowbrow now and then. This place wasn't my choice and I was thinking rather dimly of it before our ordered charcuterie board arrived at the table. This near eradicated any negative thoughts I had about the place. The board was very nicely composed. Every single item on the board was as fresh as a daisy, dancing with flavour and lovely on the palate. The size was perfect too. Spot on for two people who weren't ravenously hungry. I arrived with a cynical outlook, we left very happy. It's a 3.5.

There was lovely soft sun shining on the morning we visited and sitting in the courtyard was gorgeous with a gentle calming breeze. The coffee here was good. Lovely and richly flavoured. We also had a gorgeous fluffy blueberry muffin. It was delicious. Only the weight of the abundant blueberries stopped the muffin from flying off into the sky. Lovely home made food. This is a really nice cafe but it was unaccountably difficult to find. All it needs is a more prominent sign out front and an improved street presence. It's a 4.5. Nice.

He was scratching his head over what appeared to be some invoices and didn't seem to be particularly interested in we his customers. He was distant, gruff and unfriendly. All we wanted was a coffee. They came out eventually brought by a much pleasanter young girl. We'd asked for double shots but we didn't see much evidence of that strength. Taste was reasonable though. It's a bare pass only for this place because of the ordinary service. Sad stuff.
