My only gripe was that we were sitting at a side bench instead of a nice big table. The food was amazing. Eggs Benedict on potato rosti. Yum it was all cooked perfectly the eggs were like molten gold with the yoke pouring out when cut into. The rosti were nice and crispy with out being too fatty. As side serve of chorizo and some kale to green it up was a nice addition. Yum. Please can I go back there. Don't hesitate if your in bright. The lunch and dinner menu also looks good and if it's anything like breakfast then it will be with it.

It is a little salty but the charred-ness was just right and coupled with the almonds tasted so delicious! I just find the broccoli a little pricey at 15 bucks. Then the pulled pork burger came and the wagyu burger came. All was good and rather good standard just like Bright Winery restaurant standard. Then the Lamb ribs came... And it came with just 5 or 6 ribs stacked on each other. You can easily one-bite them and the flesh just comes off so easily you can barely describe it. Even the bones were tasty. And the fat between the bones and the first layer grilled part is so soft it almost seem translucent like saliva. Portion may seem small at first but trust me, these Lamb ribs are like wagyu beef in terms of fat content. You don't wanna be eating too many of this and driving up any mountain near Bright after this. (Motion sickness may occur; you've been warned!) Overall a fantastic meal and I still couldn't believe how good the Lamb ribs were; it's unbelieveable.

Situated next to Central Sports Hire in Falls Creek, it's in the middle of the village and quite accessible (Falls Creek village is on the side of a hill - everything is close but walking is involved). If it's a good season and the streets are under snow you can ski right to the front door and drop in for one...which we did. I'm not sure what changes the new owner brought in but two things were obvious - the menu has been simplified, with burgers, popcorn chicken and salads on the menu, and the staff have been decked out in lumberjack shirts. The food is okay but then you don't expect too much when in the snow. On a previous visit I recall having a reasonable meal, although it's been too long for specifics. They do have various drink options including some very cheap Cerveza beers, Rio Grande and Tecate, probably better suited to a warmer season but hey. They didn't offer salt and lime, which might add a touch of something else to an otherwise ordinary drink. There's a dart board, good heating, large windows to gaze out of, and if the company is right a good night out.

Mine was the Gado Gado Salad. I try to go vegetarian if there's the option. While very tasty, about 3 hours later I was vomiting hard, got diarrhoea at the sane time, and wanted to die. My wife also ate some of mine, so what was the difference? I ate the tofu bits, she didn't. I thought the tanginess was part of the dish, didn't like that bit much, but ate it. She didn't. It's my theory that the tofu was the culprit. The restaurant seems good, gets good reviews, and I assume this was a one off. Still, be sure to nibble any tofu with care. About 2am the full system reset on my insides was complete and I got some feverish sleep. Full recovery from near death takes about 24 hours. The guy said Gado salad is 27 but was actually 23.50. Seemed odd. One of the toughest experiences I've ever had. For the record: I was at table 27 on Tuesday night 3rd Oct at about 5.30pm. We paid $94 for the above, a wine and one beer. I was vomiting at 9pm. We all had the same cereal for breakfast, avocado/cheese sandwiches for lunch that we made at home. No one else got sick. I ride to work most days, am fit, and don't get sick often.
