The parents and I stopped in on a quiet Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. We had two chicken parma's and the garlic prawn pasta.
The chicken Parma's were generous servings; the biggest chicken breasts you'll ever need but most importantly they were fresh and succulent. Beautiful thick golden crispy chips and a side salad rounded it out, with not a morsel left on our plates (don't want to over-review a chicken Parma at a pub.. but it was pretty good!!).
The garlic prawn pasta was delicious. They didn't skimp on the garlic and it also had a fair share of prawns.
There was only one couple dining plus a few regulars at the bar, so can't comment on usual atmosphere (maybe that's it!?) - but the bistro itself was clean, decorated with historic photos of the building and surroundings.
Highly recommend for a good quality pub meal!
Didn't catch a photo of the menu unfortunately but it had reasonable variety, no surprises. read more
