He was on time and provided a quote based off of our final selection. Two guest bedrooms and the master were to be converted from carpet to laminate wood flooring at our house in Princeton, TX. On the day of the install, the head installer (Baltazar) showed up on time. It took him two days to complete the job. Couldn't be happier! Very friendly and professional! Our install was not the best experience due to the distributor cancelling our order for some…read morereason. We picked out our flooring two months in advance, and Abraham said that the distributor must have assumed that it was canceled because the install was not until two months later. I did not hear from them in the weeks leading up to our install so I called a week in advance to see if we were still good to go and they assured that everything was still set for the date we picked. Anyways, my husband had taken the week off of work and they only had enough engineered hardwood flooring to do one room. They went ahead and did the carpet in the bedrooms by Friday of that week. They didnt start on the rest of the house until the following Monday. So we had to takeoff work again, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The workers showed up on time on Monday to rip up the flooring. They didn't show up until noon on Tuesday to install the new flooring so they were still working up until 8 o'clock that night and were still not finished by that evening so they had to come back out Wednesday morning to finish. Needless to say this drug on for almost 2 weeks with our house being turned upside down, not being able to get to our stuff or Cook in our kitchen. I requested that Abraham hire a cleaning service to clean our house because we both had to go back to work and didn't have time to put it back together until the following weekend. He agreed and he did send someone out the next day and they did an impeccable job cleaning the house and getting rid of the dust. I will say had the distributor not canceled our order, we probably would've had a better experience and it would've been done in a timely manner. I think that it's a reputable place and they're honest people. They could work on their communication skills a little better. Would I recommend them again yes because overall the work was good and they did try to make it right after the mistake happened.

They are so much more than just flooring. The work they have done for me on two different houses has been top notch. I had two extensive remodels. One in Anna that we had just purchased earlier in the year and then one in Plano we moved out of. Shaun is my contact and project manager for Anna Flooring and design. He is amazing to work with. He always checks in with you during the project and makes sure the job is done right before sending you the final bill. He always personally checked the work that was being done and made sure that the people doing it fixed any issues. If there is a problem, he figures out how to fix it. That's the test of a great company. I would 100% hire them again. He even would bring me samples to choose from rather than having to go in myself. He has several different contractors he uses for different projects. They aren't just flooring, they can take care of most any remodeling or renovation needs you have. I had cabinets refinished, new plumbing run for a second sink in the master, new countertops and sinks, lighting, exterior doors, carpet, luxury vinyl, tile, drywall, and painting. Probably some other things I forgot. The work was so good I started adding more and more for them to do. All of the contractors were very good but two stand out. Mark and Jackie are a father and daughter team and let me just say wow. They did most of the drywall repair and painting, as well as miscellaneous things on my very long list. I think of them like a make ready crew. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. I have very high standards and somehow they always seem to find a way to exceed them. I don't know how Shaun has found all of these great contractors. Do yourself a favor and get in touch with them if you have any remodeling needs. They work all over the place, not just Anna. Their prices are very fair, and honestly sometimes felt lower than I expected. Oh and lastly, I had never met any of them before this experience. These are my genuine feelings. We were building a new home and trying to decide what type of flooring, engineered hardwood or wood…read morelook tile, we wanted. We decided on a nice engineered hardwood. We priced the options with our builder. Our son-in-law suggested we see what a flooring contractor, Zuriel Flooring, he had used in the past could do. It turned out that Zuriel could provide the same flooring for about $6,000-$7,000 less than the builder. They also gave us an option for stained, solid hardwoods. That option was almost $10,000 less than the builder option. Zuriel's per square foot pricing was less than several well known national/local companies that we had received quotes. From the first conversation and subsequent meetings, we haven't had a better relationship with a contractor we've worked with. Zuriel delivered a high quality product sooner than they committed to finishing and were always responsive to our calls. They have been outstanding! After we accepted him as our contractor, he worked directly with the insurance adjuster and answered all questions and concerns the adjuster had. He consistently kept us in the loop when communicating to our insurance company. The letters GC in the name should stand for Great Company, Great Contractor, or Great Communicators, because Jeff and his staff kept us informed every step of the way. They communicated what to expect, timelines, and any unexpected issues needing to be mitigated. They were quick to respond to any questions we had regarding the project. They accommodated changes we wanted for our kitchen vent hood and were really helpful and patient with assisting us with flooring options. Renovating our home after water damage was very stressful and inconvenient. I've used professional paint services before--Platinum Painters, and they were amazing. They were…read morefast, everything was seamless and professional, and lines and edges were perfect. They left my house spotless. I wanted a certain kind of faux finish on one of my walls, which was the only reason why I didn't hire them a third time. I left them five star reviews on all social media sites. They only bad thing about them is they spoiled me and set my expectations for what a painting company is supposed to be. I bought a new home and wanted to refresh the main living areas. I called around and Painter Bros were the only company who would do the finish I wanted. I sent them texts of what I wanted it to look like and they said they could do it. They ignored my requests and did it their way. Whatever. I'm more mad about the two main issues here: (1) terrible work product and (2) illegal debt collection practices (e.g., I paid but he sent my account to collectuons despite having receipts and bank statements). First: Terrible Work Product 1. The paint job was terrible. They left paint transfer on my ceiling and trim. They did not go back underneath spots and touch-up difficult to reach corners on 19 foot ceilings. They also did not touch up the trim. He said trim was not included, just "walls and ceilings." I did not know "trim" was not part of a wall--Platinum Painters took care of that all at once, so I'm unsure why his contractors couldn't have at least cleaned up the marks they made? 2. The owner, "Rob" was not available on-site to do the final walk through "because they finished earlier than he thought." He does not use actual employees, these are third party contractors. In fact, I never saw him again after I received the initial quote. 3. His contractors left the house a mess, and tried leaving 6 bags of trash on my lawn for several days. I spent a ton of time removing paint off my floors (I even asked the contractors how to remove it because there was so much splattered when it was clear they were leaving me to do it), mopping, and cleaning up dust before my young children could arrive back in the house. I did not finish the survey at the end. In fact, I was distracted with this huge mess they left. 4. They damaged my walls and blinds, and then lied about it and said they were pre-existing (despite the blinds being in place, and the wall not being damaged--in fact, you can see the dry wall underneath). I had to show him the "for sale" pictures of the house showing the wall and blinds were intact. They also broke most of my switch plates and outlet covers! To this day, most of my outlet covers and light switches in the kitchen and living areas have not been replaced because I'm still waiting on him to make it right. Second: Payment Issues 1. Nowhere on the contract does it say his company is "wilsonventuresllc." In fact, if you Google it, a Nigerian company pulls up. I have screenshots of that attached. I called my Credit Union, Navy Federal Credit Union, who investigated and concluded my account was compromised. I agreed. I had to close my account which I've had since I was 14. 2. Rob tells me later, after the painting, that it was his company and that he didn'tget the deposit. I asked him what he was enrolled in as Zelle and Zelled him the deposit, and then paid the rest of the job immediately, and directly from my checking account. I attached the banking receipts to show this was paid to him. 3. He never accepted the Zelle. I have no control of that. I asked him to send me another electronic request for payment/e-payment request. He said he cannot. I told him fine, come repair my dry wall and then I'll hand you the cash. There is supposed to be satisfaction guarantee, and they damaged the walls. He refused, and subsequently initiated collection efforts for the nearly $4k that was already paid through my bank! See screenshots. Rob has subsequently refused to pick up the phone and discuss any of these issues.
