Highly recommend using Floors Touch. Abraham was great and communicated through the entire process. I took on a project of totally modernizing my home's bottom floor and kitchen. The entire bottom floor was removed of tile and old food floors. I had Floors Touch 1) install new solid wood floors throughout, approx. 2000sq ft. 2)remove kitchen island and reconstruct a new modernized island. 3) install new kitchen cabinet doors and 4) install all new doors throughout bottom floor, totaling 6 doors. Abraham handled all modest issues in a prompt manner with the customer satisfaction being first. The quality of the work is amazing and looks outstanding. We used Floors Touch about 5 years ago for LVP installation. The floor panels look nice. That is the only positive I can provide. The installation job was sloppy at best. We have had issues with cracks, dents, separation, sub flooring, you name it. They came and made a few poor effort repairs but said we must have a water leak. Called a plumber-- no leak. We have also had our house inspected since then. No leaks. They just didn't want to own up to the shoddy install job and do what needed to be done to make it right. We are not having some painting done on our baseboards and the painter has commented that they were so poorly reinstalled after the flooring install. These people seem to care more about making a sale than doing a quality job. Their Google reviews are better than Yelp and that makes me think there's some in-store offer to leave a good review on Google. Don't use this place! read more

We had work done by Floors Touch and were misled about their quality and capability They placed a charge on our credit card without our approval. They lied to us that all of their workers were their employees, but instead most were independent contractors. There were significant problems with basic communications with their claimed to be employees. The products received were substandard and the drawers and doors are misaligned and not properly finished. They installed two small end cabinets withe wood grain going in different directions. They charged almost $2000 for cabinet strip lighting that any licensed electrician would have charged less than $300. They also charged us for work that was never done. When we complained, nothing was addressed or done to meet or expectations. They are basically dishonest, unprofessional and incapable of performing to even the simplest tasks. I recently had my entire upstairs flooring and stairs replaced from carpet to a mix of luxury vinyl and carpet, and I could not be happier with my results from this company. I'd received a quote from a competitor, but the reviews for the installation were terrible, so I visited Floors Touch and was impressed from the beginning with what Terrik and his team could do. I didn't have to move any furniture or remove any railing. Jose did an amazing job with painting my rooms and stair railing. Jorge and Guillermo also did an exceptional job, and my spirits were lifted each day with joyful singing. They custom-cut vinyl to fit my non-standard and complicated staircase, staying extra hours to make sure each detail was finished with beauty and perfection. Dishonest and sloppy install job. We purchased LVP and were told it was 100% waterproof. We were told you could spill water on it and as long as you cleaned it up within 24 hours, it would be fine. Not true. If water gets to the seams, and it will, water gets trapped under the surface and ends up cracking and breaking the planks. They were supposed to install a water barrier but did not. The invoice did not have a line by line breakdown, so no way to prove or disprove what was actually agreed upon. Also, the original install had large gaps between the planks and the baseboards look like they were just slapped back on. I did not comment at the time because I knew we would replace them anyway. Fast forward 4 years, we had them come back out to give us a quote to repair it. The man refused to write down the quote and give me a copy. I even asked how will he remember who I am and the price quoted. He just said he would remember. I find it suspicious that he refused to provide a written quote. On top of that, while in my house, another contractor was there to provide a quote on something else. He counter offered and got into an argument with the other guy right in front of me, the customer. Very unprofessional. read more

We put down a deposit and the manager and another employee came to our house to measure and bid some other things for a remodel. They made the trip out of state but we still had reservations. We canceled within 30 days and they refuse to give our deposit back. They said they had already ordered the materials. We offered to pay the restocking fee, but they now tell us that we owe the full amount plus attorney fee. We have asked for proof they ordered the hardwood numerous times with no response. I'm not one to write negative reviews but I wish we would have known. We also had two other floor companies give us bids and Floors Touch measurement was over 200 ft.² more than anyone else. read more

I can't believe I havent written my review for Abraham and his store yet. 4.5 years ago I was in a situation where I needed flooring for my entire house and due to a supply shortage, was having a really hard time finding quality flooring that was available within the timeframe needed. I lucked out and found his store randomly, walked in and walked out in less than 10 minutes having found my ideal floor and a great deal. Abraham was very fair to me and communicative. We are so happy with our floors, high quality, great look, I get compliments all the time on it. We hired Floors Touch for a master bathroom remodel. The end results looked nice, and they honored everything promised but there are a couple of things you should consider so frustrations are minimized. I've always heard that when hiring a contractor, you should get a contract that details all the different aspects of the job, so there is no misunderstanding about what's included. Shame on us, we did not do that! Floors Touch just gave us a lumpsum cost for the project, so as a result, frustrations occurred throughout the project. They did honor our expectations, but it was not without frustration on our side. Communication throughout the project was not a strong suit from the project manager and on-sight installers. I would have expected a vendor to reach out if they were not going to arrive on the day and time communicated. Instead, we had to follow-up with them to see if coming on start of project and throughout the project. Additionally, communication with their on-site installers was a challenge due to language barriers. When we engaged Floors Touch, Abraham consistently communicated that certain design decisions would be discussed with the installer, however those language barriers created frustrations throughout the project. They also installed our guest bathroom tile using a different installer. Although there was a language difference, we did not experience a language barrier this time. It was a significantly smaller project, but it went much smoother than our master bath remodel. read more

We had water damage and needed one box of the flooring type that we had previously purchased from these guys These guys had one box and refused to sell it to us unless we bought 4-500 sf of a different type that didn't match. I would have given them a zero if that was an option. We bought nice carpeting. Floors Touch contracted the installation, which covered the stairway and throughout the 2nd floor. A year later the carpeting was seriously rippling, caused by poor installation. After deeper inspection, I found the installers didn't add a tact strip in many areas. As such the carpeting needs to be stretched and tact strips need to be added. I went into the store, spoke with Marcus and told him the problem. I understand I'll call you, is what I was told. Never a call back, no action. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

They were recommended by our realtor and we reached out to set up a quote. Abe came to our new home to take measurements quickly, as we were short on time. We followed him to his showroom and he helped us match our existing wood floors. He planned out removing all the carpets and replacing with matching floor and resurfacing and staining our existing floor to match. After seeing two stars for this company, I just had to give my review. After buying our house in October of 2010, one of the first things we wanted to do was to replace the living room & hallway carpet and put wood floors in. We shopped around and found Floors Touch on accident while trying to get a bite to eat. We were really impressed with the friendliness and knowledge that was shown to us by our sales rep. He came out, measured, and gave us a quote. It was out of our price range...not because they were more expensive than other companies, but more out of our misguided expectations of price. We told him we would wait and save up...that's just what we did. A year and a half later we returned and guess what...he remembered our family on site and where we lived (great memory). He helped us choose the perfect wood floors for our house and we couldn't be more happy on the job the installers did. I would most definitely recommend Floors Touch. I don't normally write reviews and as is the case most people write a review once they are already disgruntled! My husband and I want to share our GOOD experience. We originally stopped in looking to upgrade our kitchen countertops to granite. We had looked around at a number of stores in the area and decided that Floors Touch had the granite we liked a good price and would do the best job. We were impressed with the salesperson Marco and liked that they had company crews and as such would likely do a better job than a big box store. Well we were not disappointed. The crew was professional and the install went great. We were very happy and still are. However, we did not know that our saga was not ending with this one job. Two days after purchasing our new countertops our house had a water leak that flooded most of the house! New we needed new wood floors, carpet and baseboards. Again we looked around at a bunch of other stores and in the end purchased everything from Floors Touch. The store manager Abraham and Marco we very helpful and knowledgeable and helped us pick out the perfect products to complement our home. They had the best price on the material and the take-up of the old wood and tile. Abraham came to the house and measured everything and worked us up a combined price. In reading some of the reviews here people do need to understand that installing new flooring is VERY disruptive to the home and its contents much as it is when you move to a another house. You have to realize that it is ultimately you as the homeowner have the responsibility to move your belongings around and be as helpful with the installers as you can because it is NOT their job to move all your stuff around. Lowes who did carpet for us several years ago would not even move the big stuff without adding several hundred dollars to the price. The Floors Touch crew moved the big stuff and honestly did more than expected but my husband was there the entire day to help ensure all went well. He fixed the squeaks in the upstairs floors and did not expect the installers to handle that or get a salesperson to say that they would. If we have learned anything from our complete home renovation is that you have to be to some degree your own contractor and know and watch everything as to ensure as much as possible will go smoothly. One last thing about the installation crews because at the end of the day these are the guys who do the work -- they were awesome. Very professional. Were respectful of our home. Cleaned and vacuumed at every stage and we couldn't be more happy and impressed. We strongly endorse this company and will be back again -- not too soon though! read more

These guys are tile salesmen with a Rolodex of subcontractors. That's about it. If you go with them you will end up being your own project manager dealing with all of their subs yourself. Their scheduler is clueless and schedules subs in the wrong order. So the subs just end up calling each other to set their own schedule. They don't do anything whatsoever to please a customer if they can't charge extra for it, no matter how minor. They just want their subs to cut corners to keep the cost down and profits up. And I am referring to common sense things they should have accounted for in their bid. And I believe they were. You will get the impression that you are in excellent hands right up until you sign the contact. Then all bets are off. The owner, Abraham, then starts giving you an attitude when you tell him something is not being done right. If a sub accidentally messes up something unrelated to their job, he acts like you just need to deal with that sub to take care of it. Even if it means dealing with a different sub to fix the problem. Useless. They have an impressive showroom that will lure you in. Their salesmen are slick. And even some of their subs are top notch. But their project management and service is worthless. You will be taking a lot of time off if you have a bigger project as they never come to your house again after they get the contract. NEVER. No matter how many times you tell them they really need to come take a look at something. You end up dealing with every issue yourself. Had a very exhausting experience with Floors Touch and would not recommend them. I wouldn't complain if the price was a third less to pay for my time. The only good thing to come of this is I now have a full list of subcontractors that I know very well being I had to spend so much time with them. read more

Used Floors Touch McKinney for a substantial flooring job at my House. We had Great Installers (Jorge and Guillermo for wood floors; Manuel for Tile and shower). Jorge and Guillermo we extremely cooperative and skilled in the wood floor installations. As with some of the other reviewers, we found the agreements about installation requirements made with the sales team were not communicated to the Installers. This created stress and caused some rework. We felt as though we paid "full price"... Meaning we should have received full service having paid full price. We had to monitor performance of the installers, and we did escalate concerns to Marco at the store. read more

Marco is a miracle worker! We bought a house and had a very short timeline to make changes. I am not good at picking out colors/styles - Marco recommended certain floors and backsplash styles which, I must say, completely transformed the house! I'm so happy with our new space. The vinyl floors are great (at half the price of the big box stores for carpet removal/install) and the kitchen backsplash matches the house to a T. I have an intense work schedule; Marco was readily available by text. Only concern has been that it seems like there is not always solid communication among the crew and the office. The flooring took a day longer than expected. They were supposed to haul away the old carpet and it's been in my garage for a week now. They will remedy that soon! However, the old tile backsplash was ripped out and replaced in less than a day! They knew I needed it done right away so they sent a large crew out to finish it.
