Trainers and owner wont wear a mask and after the owner had a maskless COVID close encounter, owner refused to close for more than a single day or wait until testing could produce reliable results. Instead she refused to refund any of our money even though we felt unsafe after this incident. She refused to allow us to use it for private lessons or merchandise. She proceeded to hang up on us, cancel the rest of our lessons without our consent and just kept our money. Horrible person to deal with. read more

During my dog temperament test, I was encouraged to have 1 on 1 training sessions due to my anxious dog. I paid more for this but the trainer brought her child to the training sessions and spoke to him more than me and my dog. The child was making a ruckus and the trainer was yelling at her child. very distracting to my anxious dog Long story but my dog was sent back to shelter and I was told that I would get a refund of all of my unused credit as long as I provided a letter from my apartment stating he was kicked out(despite the refund policy). Letter was provided and they went back on their word and I never received a refund. They wouldn't even let me buy supplies (cage, bed, leash, etc. that I told them I was going to donate to a shelter)from their store with my money. However, I would've been able to use the funds for their store if I had the dog still. facility was decently nice, but TERRIBLE customer service and training. Would not recommend. read more

Jax is horrible to deal with. My husband and I had attended the consultation with Jen and thought it went pretty well. We decided to sign up (and pay) for classes but since the price was pretty hefty, I asked about whether there were any current discounts (there was a fall discount listed on the website). Jen said to ask Jax and if she gave a discount that she could refund us that amount. So the next day, I messaged Jax and asked about the possibility of a discount. Her response was, in part, "You are certainly welcome to find a cheaper trainer, I charge what I know I'm worth. But if you would like to go to a different trainer, I will refund.......And this already seems like it will not be a good match if your concern is money and not the dog. I will refund your money immediately." How arrogant does someone have to be, to be so offended if asked about a possible discount, that her business had previously offered. Yes, my husband and I will find a different trainer. She would have gotten no stars but to post this I had to select at least one. read more

Jax is the best! She takes the time to get to know you and your dog and what you want to work on and she'll stick with you through the whole process. I've been working with her for a few months and have seen a huge difference in my dog and how I work with her! read more
