They have a huge variety of fabrics and you can probably spend a couple of hours looking around and finding different materials. The cost is pretty fair and the employees are so kind and helpful. The lady that helped us both times we went in was so sweet and she even went looking for a specific fabric design we were looking for and eventually found the perfect one. The only downside is parking is atrocious and just be resigned to the fact that you're going to spend $20 at one of the small lots and don't be fooled by the $3 parking because in tiny small print it says the first 15 minutes is $3 with a maximum parking fee for the day is $20.

Joanne has experience in cat-proofing with her own little critters, and she swore by the fabric that looked great after 7 years and counting in her house. It definitely gave us confidence, even knowing how destructive our little critters can be. Joanne was extremely responsive and most of our communication was accomplished remotely, but we also benefited greatly from visiting the office and going through fabrics. She gave us a competitive price that INCLUDED pickup and delivery, which is a rarity these days and made for an UNBEATABLE price. After numerous scarfs and blankets it was time to reach out to a store where i could purchase my supplies, but also get support as I take on more challenging projects. Vanessa was kind enough to help me pick out a hat pattern online and she suggested yarns in the store that would be easier for my first hat. After purchasing my materials, she suggested that i sit down and start my project. One of the kind ladies working on their projects not only helped me start my project, but she put in a lifeline (learned something new). I sat and chatted with the group as I worked on my project. I choose this store even though it is further away from my home because it is open W-F until 7 pm so I can go over after work for help. They are open on the weekend. And lastly, as I expected there is a community of knitters willing to help. I'm overjoyed to have found a place to learn and challenge myself after working solo for so long. But the shop has completely not kept up with the times. Not having your inventory priced with tags is a no-go, full stop. "It's too hard" or "we have too much stuff" are not acceptable explanations when it creates a really awkward situation for everyone involved: the owner, who has to look up prices individually, and the customer, who may be caught out at the register when something is out of budget. Their tenure is evident by the sheer volume of things they have, and to their credit, their stock is extremely varied and large. Quite easy to lose two hours here. But I found the service hot and cold: they'd sometimes follow me around, but respond coldly when I asked questions. The pricing structure and service just made this a really unpleasant experience that was not at all offset by their large stock. I will skip this when I'm in the area and won't be recommending to friends.
