I have been to a ton of different custom printing shops in the area and I could definitely say that Pixel Designs LA was one of the best hands down. I reached out to Rene in regards to getting 5 zipup jackets with custom names and a front design. He gave me a quote at first, which was a bit out of my price range. However, when I talked to him about my situation, he was more than happy to help out. We were able to come to an agreement for a quote and I'm so glad we did! I sent him the design and paid for half of the quoted total for the deposit. One comment I'd like to add however is that his shop is small and was a bit hard to find at first. If you ever come here, it is the small building after the Elk's. Once I did find it, Rene was super happy to help and sent my designs for approval within a day. We kept in touch and soon enough, he noticed that there was a misspelling on the design. I had approved it beforehand, but he took the extra step and checked again. After noticing, he immediately messaged me and asked me to recheck and approve. If it weren't for him, we would have had a misspelled word on our design. I had this issue with another company previously, where they had spelled something wrong and didn't bother to check. This business is a small cart located in the center of the Santa Anita mall in Arcadia…read more When I went there to ask for the price of embroidering an object that I would provide, the woman was on the phone talking for a good 5 minutes before she decided to say, "Hold on," and then ask me what I needed. She said it would cost $10-12 for one line of words, 4.5" wide. I brought in a blanket (specifically, the nap blanket from Brookstone) and she said blankets would cost $12 to embroider one line. If I wanted any bigger, I would have to do 8 inches, which would cost an extra $10. The font selection was ugly, but maybe I'm just really picky about things. When you choose a font, she'll try to suggest a better font that would allow the words to be larger without taking up more width. This can be seen as a good thing, but since I am picky about fonts and design in general, I was annoyed because the fonts she was suggesting were ugly. After choosing the font and thread color, I paid $12.99. Then, she told me to return in 15 minutes and it will be done for me. Pretty fast I guess. I came back 15 minutes later and she had even folded the blanket and put it back in the small bag I had bought it in, which is quite hard to do. The embroidery did not come out as I had envisioned and to be honest, I didn't really like it, but it's not hideous and it looks like it will last. A few other good things to know: - They accept credit cards. - They sell hats, stuffed animals, and other things there that you can buy to embroider on and embroidery is usually free if you buy these items. - They also do custom logos--just bring in a copy of the logo--but of course it costs more.

At the front they have compression socks, stethoscopes, badge reels, & other clinical tools. Staff are nice & open to questions.
