I've seen some of the comments about stuff not being ready on time but you have to understand that these 2 ladies are very busy and I would say high in demand since the location is in a popular full area. With that being said I have brought multiple things for Linda to fix and she never misses! From clubbing outfits to denim to swimwear! If you need something at a a certain time I advise you to bring it at least 2 weeks before you need it. Don't wait last minute. These 2 ladies are very sweet and helpful and are my go-to! read more

Ok, to put it very politely: The quality of tailoring done here is not to my liking. While straightforward tailor jobs are fine here and the staff is friendly, when I brought in two jackets, a suit skirt and some sweaters each with small holes to have mended, Linda ( the tailor) made the odd decision to use a sewing machine over the broken areas, creating what was effectively a hard patch on each of the items. By any standard, this was not the best solution and made me question the tailor's judgment. Why make crazy, highly visible sewing machine patches when all that was needed was a simple hand-stitched mend? Alternatively, if the tailor does not feel that she can do the job right, the most professional thing to do would be to abstain and explain to the customer why they cannot work on said items. When I complained that the job was unsatisfactory, I was offered only a refund first. This was no consolation considering the items, some if which had delicate fabrics, were all but ruined in their current state. It was only after my strong insistance that Stitches agreed to remove the offending patches. Finally, as if to add insult to injury, when I returned for the third time to reclaim my items, the skirt was lost! Stitches could not find it and told me they would call me when it turned up. A week later, and still no call but when I called myself I was told that the skirt was there. In short, don't expect much from Stitches and if you have a more complicated or unusual request I would recommend you go elsewhere. read more

The items I dropped off for simple alterations were not ready to pick up when they were scheduled. I was told to come back 45 minutes later, when I did one of the items had to be redone because it was sewn on incorrectly. So I had to wait another 15 minutes for that to be done. I won't be giving this shop any more of my business. read more

Really nice lady who does good work, but both times I've had clothes altered they weren't ready when she said they would be. The second time I came in a few hours after she said to pick them up, they weren't ready, so she asked for 30 minutes more - I came in an hour later, and the pants weren't ready for 15 minutes. I went here and got my pants tailored and also got some shirts tailored as well. The lady who works here is so amazingly friendly and her 100% guarantee on everything is amazing.
