This is not a reputable business. Do not work with these guys…read more We ordered a design and paid for rush delivery -- everything up to this point has been smooth. Talking on the phone, discussing inks, sizes etc. As soon as the order was "done" they went cold. No tracking number provided no updates, no communication. We waited 2 months and we're forced to file a dispute with the bank. They called us after a long string of texts, emails, voice mails, even messages on social saying that your product is done and in customs. After that they went cold again and zero communication, zero replies, zero support. Long story short, our order never arrived, no tracking number was provided, and they wrote us a cold message saying "if you don't want the product shipped we will offer to pick it up in our shop." Complete scammers -- do not give them your CC info.

I came in Michael's out of boredom last week and actually came to really like the store! I am not a…read morecrafty person .. and don't plan to become one .. but it did leave me feeling inspired. I ended up spending about $150 in fake flowers and a wreath to add to a bedroom I just redid for spring and I really enjoyed my time picking things out. They have beautiful garland strands if you want hang fake flowers and leaves .. I have them framing my closet and draped around some things and they're so lovely. After I got home, I found a coupon for 25% off and brought my tags bag and was able to "return and rebuy" everything with a coupon. Today, I got a $50 reward and combined that with a 20% off coupon. What a steal! The cashiers were very friendly and helpful on both visits. I'm leaving one star off because there was a fairly big section of open space they could utilize and I feel they could have some tall vases for sale for the tall fake flowers and such. I only found 2 really cheap ugly ones in the wedding section. This would be a great thing to carry with all their assortment of flowers!

Several things: 1. The staff have no idea about their own…read morestock and where things are. Nor do they even know the names of common items or understand descriptions of such. 2. The check out stations are ridiculous. The scanners don't pick up the codes or the codes are embedded in the item. They are poorest human factors stations I've seen. They start off trying to force you to register for their site, blah, blah. 3. Want a bag - have to buy a cloth bag with handles. Can't even have a plastic or paper bag for a few items. Surprise if you want a bag, you are told you have to buy it. Ok, here's a buck. Oh - we don't cash - you have to go the special machine at the end of the machines. What baloney! Quite the One star experience.

I was given classes at ArtYard as a gift several times, and each time by the end of the session, I vowed not to return. Have you ever experienced waiting in line somewhere while the associate chit chats with others, like you're not even there? You might have a question, but you're stuck, waiting, until they're good and ready to address you? And your inquiry is even brief, but you must wait? This is what it feels like taking a "class" at ArtYard - it's really more like you're renting the studio space for six weeks, which if you had acquired the necessary skills would be fine. I expected an attentive teacher walking around offering encouragement, tips and advice to students, and rooting them on, like the substitute that was there once, he was amazing! However, you must simply wait for a break in the conversation, say please, and not chew gum in class if you'd like help. Or to keep from idling, ask another student for help. One can be talented at what they do, but not have the heart of a teacher. (And yes, I understand that there is a certain amount of trial and error to creating art such as pottery: figuring things out, making your own mistakes, trying, trying again. I get that. I am a designer for a living.) Contacting the instructor - via phone, email or text - was unpredictable, you may or may not get a response. Sadly, I got to the point where I could take "the attitude" no longer: frustrated, upset, and humiliated, I walked out of the second class, and didn't return. And no one with the heart of a teacher would allow that to go unnoticed. But they did.
