Top pillows are reversible, giving me two looks in one. Truth be told, it is expensive to reupholster. You've got the cost of fabric plus the labour. With this said, I have never regretted spending a single penny. Open seven days a week = convenient! Now, let's all make a pact to clean out the garage so we can upcycle and make space for the car.

This Hobby Lobby store in Seekonk, MA is walking distance to BJ's Wholesale Club, Staples, Panera Bread, and Raising Cane's. There are plenty of parking spots. I was shopping at BJ's Wholesale Club and suddenly the fire alarm went off, so I walked to Hobby Lobby to check it out and stay warm. The store was huge and when you walk in, there are aisles of holiday items from gift tags, wrapping paper, gift boxes, stockings, wreaths, and other decor items. Throughout the other aisles are fabric, wall decor, books, party items, frames, paper crafts, and so much more. All aisles were labelled and fully stocked. I purchased car coasters as a gift. There were multiple registers open and the cashier was friendly. Service was quick. I will definitely come back to Hobby Lobby when I need supplies for a DIY project or a party.

Fabric takes up approximately one third of the space in this small location. I have generally been able to find what I need when I'm here but its not the products that detract from the experience. Their customer service could use an upgrade. When you are at the cutting counter there is a lot of sighing and negative facial expressions. Even when the store seems empty there's a line of people waiting and waiting. The speed with which things are conducted here does not improve when trying to check out. Often, there are not enough staff on the registers. On my most recent visit, there was one person working the register with 6 or so people in front of me. I waited a very long time to make my purchase... so long that I almost considered leaving my items behind. Whats worse is there were two other employees hanging out by the cutting counter, chatting. I had seen one of them at the registers when I first walked in so that would not have prevented them from coming to help out. Frustrating, as this is something that happens consistently. Fortunately, I do not have to rely on this location as there are other craft stores closer to me. When I need to stop here though, I wish things were improved a bit.

The place is small, but it is pretty packed with a variety of decorating and crafting supplies and the selection changes throughout the year. The largest section of the store is the fabric section. Because the store is small, if you go there for something in particular the selection may seem limited (depending on what you're seeking). That said, It is pretty rare that they don't have something I'm looking for. There are some advantages to the smaller space. It is easy to find what you need, without having to ask for help (like I find I have to do at larger craft supply stores). When you do need help, the staff are knowledgeable and eager to assist.

A family friend brought my two daughters there last week…read more The experience was fine for them, however, this place does not advertise that the owner is extremely religious, plays Christian worship music, and writes scripture on the bags when the items are picked up. If that aspect of the business isn't specifically advertised, it can be a bit off putting for someone who doesn't know what they're walking into. Our biggest issue stems from that fact that this place took pictures of my children and put them on their social media. My wife reached out via chat on Instagram and was ignored. My wife called the business and talked directly to the owner and was met with indifference. She said that the Instagram account was ran.by someone else and she would reach out before pushing my wife off the phone. It was eventually removed and replaced, sarcastically, with a picture of my children with yellow smiley faces blocking them. The Instagram account also blocked my wife who only asked for the pictures to be removed. It wasn't until after this that we saw that she also posted pictures of our children to FACEBOOK and those weren't removed. We tried calling again, during business hours, and the phone was off. So I went there and spoke to her myself. I explained to her that putting images of children is against Rhode Island law. After making me wait, she got on her own phone and all of a sudden had access. She deleted the pictures and I went on my way. I don't recommend this place unless you're a religious zealot looking to spend the afternoon with an insufferable Karen who thinks breaking the law is ok because she's "always done it."
